Kiddo's VR hand grips were acting all stupid. Replacing them is even more stupid. So this kit was a huge money saver. Definetly have a good workspace to do this and a large screen to watch the step-by-step YouTube tutorial so you can pause and work. Pretty sure I was able to do both controllers in under 2 hours (new to this type of work and frequent kid interruptions) but it was suprisingly pretty easy to do. They've worked great since replacing. Great quality and alternative if you're willing to do it yourself.

I had some stick drift in my original quest 2 controllers and this fixed it perfectly! I am used to repairing electronics so it wasnt too bad but if you arent super confident its a little nerve racking. They give you all the tools you need just go slow and watch videos

Worked as advertised, took about 30 minutes per controller. I found it helpful to watch a YouTube instructional video for disassembling because some of the unit is screwed together and some is glued, namely the top black plate section of the controller. Eliminated the drift entirely!

My sons Quest wireless grip handles got damaged, so we ordered this kit to repair them. The kit had all the parts needed, and we provided the Allen keys needed to take out the screws to install the new parts to repair the grips. The sizes were correct and accurate. The quality of the parts seem just as good as the original. The installation was a bit tricky, but went well overall and only took about an hour in total. The price point is great and it was worth getting so that we could continue to use it.

The product itself isn't bad quality, nothing too special, but it does include tools, though not all of which are useful. The included screwdriver is too bulky to fit in order to unscrew some of the small hidden screws. When you take apart the controller, theres a seal around the face panel of it that is destroyed when the panel is removed and the kit doesn't contain a replacement. Without the seal, the face panel doesn't quite sit right on the controller, making it harder to press the buttons. Also, replacing the joystick requires a full disassembly of the joystick, and it can be really easy to damage the electronics in the process. Another important thing to note is that there is a spring in the controller that connects to the joystick which detects when the joystick is touched, if this spring is bent or damaged in the slightest, this detection will not work at all and the kit also does not include a replacement. So while replacing the joystick will eliminate stick drift, it can cause other problems. Ultimately I think that this kit is okay if you're willing to accept that it may be a bit jank, but if you want to maintain the quality of the original controller, it would be better to replace the controller all together. That however is far more expensive. I would say to replace the controller or bring it to get fixed if possible, especially if you do not want to deal with the sensitive electronics.

A little finicky to install but that was expected from the reviews. Functionality is good and fixes the stick drift issue.
