works well to prevent evaporation
I use this in my toilets and drains in a florida winter home (unoccupied all summer) to reduce evaporation and keep the drains full while I'm away for 6 months. Works good but I also but saran wrap on top of the fluid to further reduce evaporation. After six months of florida summer heat the toilets and drain traps are still full.

Sad to see (winterizing), but happy to use...
This is a product that I have to say, I'm sad to see as it means the RV is going into storage for winter, but I'm happy to use as I know Guinevere will withstand the cold. :-)NOTE: We do not live in a location that gets a lot of cold weather, so we have not used this product in the water lines, nor in the fresh tank. For lines we use a compressor with adapter at low psi to flush the water out of the lines and use this antifreeze for the black and grey tanks. So I cannot speak to whether there's a residual taste after flushing this out of the fresh water lines.
