First off, I really love a lot of Anker products so my negative review here pains me. My 3+ year old iPhone 6 literally had an Anker case on it from the moment I got it to the moment I got my new iPhone a couple weeks ago. I truly had high hopes for this knowing how sturdy my precious Anker case was. But, this has been a very underwhelming and even somewhat badly designed phone case. The material used is far too slippery with no grip for a phone in the plus size range. Smaller hands are going to fumble and I actually dropped this already when getting out of my car. It handled the drop well and protected the phone but still...the slick and smooth material did nothing to help me maintain a hold when this went sliding from my grasp. Also, this is super loose on my phone. I don’t know if my case is just imperfect or flawed but my phone actually moves quite a bit in this. It doesn’t seem snug which is weird. It’s not necessarily dangerous to the phone but more so annoying and odd. Finally, my volume buttons are way too easily set off with this case on. I’m not sure why but my volume is always being randomly turned up or down when I’m holding this and playing music or videos. Too sensitive? I’m not sure!Anyway, I had high hopes but this is not the case for me.*UPDATE*Anker is truly ahead of the game with their amazing customer service. After seeing my review they contacted me immediately to offer another case to try out. I wound up getting an Anker Shield and I LOVE it. It's so much better IMHO then this case. It's fantastic and I am so impressed with the service that Anker offers for their products. It's truly amazing considering the prices these items are selling for. They receive an A+++ for customer service! I'm bumping my review for this up to 3 stars for the customer service and free replacement for a new Anker model for my iphone which worked out so much better then this! Thanks Anker!!

Wow, cases for iPhone 7/8 Plus series have gotten way nicer and way less costly. This Anker Karapax Series "Breeze" case is one of these win-win products. It fits great and is especially easy to pop on and off without being "loose" at all. YET, it has extra hidden gapping in the corners to act as shock absorbing safety margin for when you drop that all-glass, heavier, version of iPhone, it won't suffer damage; and the case itself is so well made with some special German made polymer that it barely shows any scuffing of its own! Anker often has some multiple product buy-in promos where you can save 15-20% off a case or a cable or power unit when you buy 'em at the same time. That is a deal NOT to pass up !!! A+ stuff.

It seems like this will protect my phone. It's only been dropped once from a few feet while sitting and it protected great from that.BUT the reason it was dropped was because this phone case is so slippery! I previously had a more grippy case from Speck but I wanted to try something different for this phone. From the pictures, I thought the backing material would be more of a rubber material instead of hard plastic. The grooves are barely noticeable in the hand and don't provide much additional grip.On the fit, it seems to fit my iPhone 8 plus okay. The cutouts lined up, but the buttons have stuck several times. This seemed to happen the first several times I used the phone and is happening less now. Overall it does feel a little bulky but I recognize that could be with the air space to protect the phone.Overall, I should have listened more to others saying it was slippery. I focused on the few that said how much grip it had. I don't know how anyone could think that with this case, so maybe I got one from a bad batch. I actually think the glass surface has a much better grip. Can't recommend and won't be buying another case from Anker.___Edit: Anker reached out to me which was great customer service. There's not a lot they could do in the situation to fix my preference for a grippier phone case. I hope that others don't expect that though. It's not really there to provide grip.

This case is impressive. The lines on the back look very different in person than they do in the description picture (for the better imo). I was worried the lines on the back would be too pronounced but in reality, in person, they're very minor making the case very workable. The case is pleasant to hold and grips the 8+ perfectly with no play (very snug). Absolutely love the buttons - they protrude out making using the buttons very easy but not in the way. There is a very nice lip around the front that goes away from the screen to not disrupt usage (when trying to move an app from one screen to another) but has enough protection that you could set your phone down screen first with force and it would be protected. The outer lip of the case is smooth plastic but not wide enough to slip in your grip when holding on a call. And just in case anyone is wondering, my phone is sitting on an Anker wireless charger with the case on - absolutely no problems getting a wireless charge whatsoever.I give this case a 10/10. For the price, couldn't go wrong. From the company - Anker, definitely can't go wrong.

Dropped my phone accidentally and the case popped off the corner. My phone screen shattered and the case broke. Wouldn’t recommend.

This is terrific.I can't describe the feeling in hand, but the material is made in a way that almost seems to create a pleasant grippy feeling on the back of the case that really makes you feel secure that you're not going to drop it.It fits perfect, provides a nice lip if you want to set your phone down screen side first and just generally feels quite secure.I also purchased the Shield case from Anker and it didn't seem to fit the 8Plus quite right so if you're on the fence between the two, I'd go with this one. Great fit, great feel at a great price.

Great case. Already dropped my phone right in one corner and no problem. Only a small scuff on case. It also looks very good. Fully satisfied!
