I purchased this cat grass hoping that my cats would like it. In the past I have bought other cat grass that they didn't care for.This was easy to set up. Very easy to plant and seeds grew quickly, within a couple of days. Within a week the grass was ready for my cats to eat. They loved it! I have purchased it several times now because my cats love it so much. I highly recommend this cat grass.

Grows quick (as expected) and a couple of our cats like it. I have to cut the grass for 2, but the other 4 grab their own. Our two eldest cats don’t have the patience to pluck the grass, they want it cut & served to them like a salad. Be careful to keep an eye out for the mold that is very common when growing cat grass (I haven’t used seeds/dirt that didn’t encounter some level of mold near the roots (wheee the grass turns from green to white), so I keep an eye out & when the mold appears, the grass disappears 🤪

For the price ? It’s unbeatable. You are getting several disks that make give the perfect amount of ‘dirt’ to grow a full head of cat grass. I made so far three full cat grass heads and I have 1/2 bag of the seeds left and it comes with TWO bags altogether. The price just can’t be beat of you are able to make x4 per bag of seeds - maybe more. Beginner friends- it grows pretty quickly.Make sure seeds have some time in the dark with water and the dirty they provide - and give them ample time to encourage them to come out of the seed - then take care of as usual.There is self watering type of Plastic pots that they come with so you can water every couple days.Amazing and especially for the price !

These are super nice. I have indoor cats and they are crazy for this cat grass. the grass is easily grown, the media is clean and nice, and the grass lasts about 2 weeks if I cut bit for the cats to chew on and put it in a little sun. If I just gave this to my cats, they would go nuts and destroy it in 24 hours, so I keep it away from them and cut them some grass to give them by hand each morning. So happy to have found this item!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Didn’t water it much and it still molded. Cat loves it and it was under a grow light not watered and it still molded. This is the second batch I tried to grow

If your cat loves to munch grass, they’ll love this product. I have a grass eaters, and he’s grazing on this grass regularly- seems to really like it. Unlike regular yard grass which is tough and coarse and would make an eventual encore appearance when my cat would eat it, this grass is tender and much more digestible.The product is very easy to start and grow, and the kit comes with everything you need to grow fresh grass for your kitty. I found that I had to add a lot more water to the starter soil than what was recommended. The seeds took just a couple days to start sprouting grass blades. I transplanted mine to a bigger container and it’s going strong despite regular grazing by my cat. Overall great product, and it comes with 3 sets of grass starter.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve tried different cat grass growing kits with varying levels of success. I kid you not this kit grew unbelievably quickly. Within a week there were hardy roots filling the entire pot and about 4” of growth. I planted this on Sunday, and the video of my cat munching away on it was taken on Saturday (probably should’ve waited another day to let her go at it but I was impatient). Will purchase again. I do wish it came in a reusable, heavier container with a secure lid and gaps for the grass to grow through, with refill soil and seeds sold separately. Beyond being more sustainable, this would help my cat not knock over the entire thing and spilling soil all over my floor. Also, without a lid to secure it my cat has been pulling out the grass with the entire root, again causing soil spills when she drags the grass through the entire home. I’m not sure if this is user error because I should have added more soil on top of the seeds, but something with a lid and suction cups on the bottom would take this product from 5 stars to perfection.UPDATE - I did not do my research and just found out they do offer different planters and refill kits. I will give them a try, however it doesn’t seem like any of the planters are very heavy or have something on the top to help with spillage. My cat loves the grass and will yank on it and knock over lighter pots, so something heavier or with a suction cup mechanism would be super helpful.
