1. The material the product is made from feels like plexiglass. It is thick and rigid.2. The metal pins in the picture are actually...metal pins. I am happy to say they are a lot stronger than necessary.3. The product I received had an additional piece that attached near the back end of the headset stand. It is for the cables. It is attractive.4 I would purchase this product again. Its price is "on point."I read a couple of people stating they were concerned about scratching the lenses of the headset. The designer put rubber bumpers on the lens side of the almost W-shaped holder. I do not believe the rubber could damage the Oculus lenses unless your intention was to cause damage...It would take some creative thinking and perhaps a hammer?I purchased this because I would store my Oculus on my desk. It would eventually get flipped upside-down and the lenses would gather dust. This product fixed the problem.

I like the minimalistic look of this HMD holder. When it's put together which is very easy it holds the goggles pretty well. Two things I wish this stand had though, is i wish the wing that holds the goggles had some kind of felt or foam or ribber on the edge that's inside the HMD. I am careful putting the HMD on there , if you go in too low you will drag the edge on the lens and that's not good. I think the edge should really have some protection on it.Also it would have been nice to have posts or something on the base to coil the HMD cables around.Overall it works, i think it's just a bit too simple though which is why i'm only giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Especially when you look at their VIVE version and how much more stand they are getting for the same price.EDIT: 1/30/18 Increased rating to 5* because of superb customer service.

I like this product a lot. It works well and functions as advertised. Good quality 3D printed parts and easy assembly. Fresh off the printer, with still a few plastic-y strings attached to it, but that is all well and good, came off easily.Props the headset off of the desk just enough not to be standing on the built-in headphones, the headset doesn’t even touch the foot of the stand. The design of the upper platform of the stand makes it so that it doesnt set off the sensor in the headset when it’s not in use.One thing I would like to point out is that the headset does collect dust on a stand, as all things do, and I would recommend some sort of dust cover to go with this. However, that does not affect the overall quality of this product, and I have given it a grand 5 out of 5. Good product.

Have this for awhile now and while it does look nice I don't use it anymore. I found a dust cover bag for my Rift headset to help keep it clean and I can't have the headset in the bag and on this display. If you need to show off your headset for visitors or taking sweet pictures of your rig then this is a perfect display mount, but for day to day use taking on and off it just doesn't quite hit the mark for me.I also kept worrying that I would scrape the lens of my rift on the hard holding rail, perhaps if it was made from a softer material I wouldn't be so paranoid.Again, if you want to display your headset this works really well, but for active use taking it on and off I don't recommend.

This stand works as labeled. Much more appealing aesthetically than the VR dummy head stand. The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is because I reserve that for products that go above and beyond my expectations.

It’s a piece of junk. Oculus headset feels very flimsy on the stand and the rubber pieces where the headset sits close to the lenses are already coming off. I don’t loke how the stand gets so close to the lenses either.So your headset really just balances on it. Doesn’t fit it snuggly at. I’d say my headset more or less just balances on it.Also be advised that photos are different than the product shipped. There is a small bar at the back of the stand you can install as well. I assumed it was for the back steps to rest on or to loop back around to provide some kind of support. It does neither.Lastly, they photos they used of the product are flattering. Your headset will look like it’s sitting flat on whatever surface the stand is on because it does not raise it very far up at all.Completely disappointed in the product overall. Cheaply made, design seems flawed, and different product than advertised in photos. I recommend avoiding this one.

This is a quality product from a quality company. I have had mine since December 2017 and a month ago my daughter accidentally pulled it off the table breaking part of the stand that holds the headset up. I emailed the company to find out how much it would cost to replace that part and they immediately mailed me a new piece (upgraded even) for no charge. Great product/Great company!

i use this for my Oculus Rift headset.i bought this and the controller stand. Unlike the controller stand, the headset stand kind of sucks. One bump or movement and the headset slides off. I also ended up duct taping the bottom of the stand to the surface of my table to limit sliding. This helps a little bit.

I looked at various different options for the Oculus as putting the headset and controllers away in the box every evening was a bit of a pain.I have to say the feel and the quality of this stand is excellent and it fits with the style and design of the Oculus. My only criticism would be that the rest at the top of the stand might be slightly better if it was lined with rubber as it would hold the headset on a light tighter.Ultimately this is an excellent product and great value for money. It keeps everything nice and neat and makes it easy to pickup and use instantly.Along with the headset holder I also purchased the stand for the controllers and these two together fit the bill perfectly. Delusione totale. Prodotto pessimo dal bel design , se un supporto necessita di una spiegazione per usarlo gia' non ci siamo e si perche' se non seguite le regole rischiate di graffiare le lenti. Non e' un prodotto da comperare va' riprogettatocosi non ci siamo saro' io che non lo posiziono correttamente ma spero tanto di non aver graffiato le lenti dato che e' estremamente facile farlo . Consiglio di guardare ad altri prodotti soldi buttati. Saluti a tutti.

Lo stand, al contrario di quanto mi aspettavo è veramente ben fatto. Pensavo fosse di plastica leggera e invece si è rivelato composto di materiali ottimi con dei perni in metallo. gli incastri per l'oculus rift e per controller sono perfetti. Inoltre fanno anche una bella figura esposti. Sono veramente contento e soddisfatto dell'acquisto

Il dispositivo è realizzato con ottimi materiali, validi anche dal punto di vista estetico.Molto comodo poichè evita che il visore appoggi sulle cuffie che con il passare del tempo risulterebbero sicuramente rovinate.
