Perfect for Foxbody Mustang
This item is exactly what I was looking for. I have a 1991 Ford Mustang and converted all the lights to LEDs. I knew about the hyper flash problem due to the low power draw of LEDs and purchased replacement flashers for both the hazard and turn signal from another retailer. Everything worked fine except that I’m very used to hearing an audible click with activation of turn signal or hazards and so the silence was deafening. Mostly, I didn’t want to look like an idiot driving down the road with the flashers is going off! I actually tried to hotwire in a relay, but the way the circuit is set up the relay was constantly being triggered, even when the flashers and turn signals were off. But from that I learned that a ground wire must be necessary to make this change and saw this unit with the extra wire and hoped it would work. It works perfectly and makes appropriate noise. FYI, for the fox body Mustangs you need two of these one for the hazards which is in the fuse box area, and the other on the other side of the console for the turn signals - the turn signal one does have reverse polarity so you’ll need to account for that but otherwise these flashers work for both. Very happy with the purchase! Hope this helps someone!

This works
I converted my 1968 ford to LED lights and the flasher wouldn’t work but this little gem fixed the problem and now they work perfectly

It works for LED classic cars
I bought this for my classic 66 mustang. I’ve switched all the halogens to LED, with indicators in the headlights. I was definitely on the edge of allowable with the original blinker, but this allowed me to reduce the wattage and install some nice modern led flood lights with mini flashers in them for indicators. I just bought a second one for the hazard lights (because I didn’t realize the classic mustang has two flashers) because this module worked so darn well.100% recommend, no inline resistors needed.

Not for Positive Ground
Would not work on vintage motorcycle with positive ground. Tried all combinations of wiring. Best case was all 4 lights ON but no flashing.

Does exactly what it supposed too
It took only a couple of minutes to install and I ran the ground to a convenient location . So far it’s been a couple of months in the Arizona heat and it has continued to work without issues.

Good quality
Good addition to an old school electrical system when adding LED's to the system to stop the hyper flash.
