I am writing this review after 3-1/2 years. I purchased this for it's size (and based on reviews) for my preschool age daughter in beginning of 2021. She has now used it for 1-1/2 years of preschool, 1 year of TK, and 1 year of Kindergarten. The only problem we have had is due to wear and tear and did not occur until after two years of daily use (the small handle strap at the top broke). We would still use it if it wasn't getting a little to small for her needs. Her next back pack is going to be the same brand and hopefully we get at least 2 years out of it as well. Highly recommend! Also, we purchased the astronaut/space print and got the matching neoprene lunch bag that has also been great and has held up perfectly after the same amount of time, also recommend that as well!

I purchased this bookbag, along with another, and two matching lunch boxes, for my twins' first day of preschool in 2019. I've always preferred muted tones to bright colors and really appreciated the style of the cartoons. The smaller size was perfect for my then 3-year-olds and still works well for my now 5-year-olds. They carried them proudly to a half day preschool for about five months, until the pandemic hit, and the bookbags/lunch boxes were placed in a closet for nearly a year and a half.Present day - twins have started preschool again and we got the bookbags back out. After a few weeks of school, I noticed that one of the straps had a small tear forming where it connects to the bookbag. It was otherwise in pristine shape, so I contacted the company to see if anything could be done about it. Vaschy responded within 24 hours and after gathering some necessary information, offered to send a new product to us. My son has been using it now for over a week and loves it!No issues with the lunch boxes or other book bag, I think the tear was a fluke, and would definitely purchase from Vaschy again in the future.

This bag is the perfect size for my small first grader. Most bags are huge and I was worried but his kindergarden bag was just not fitting everything. Love the front buckles. Helps keep it on him since we walk to school and home.

quality little backpack. the fabric feels solid, the zippers don’t catch at all, very smooth, and the pockets are much bigger than i expected. i bought it for myself, not a child, and i’ve got a slim build (5’4” - 110lbs - 32DD for reference) and the chest clip works great. lots of room for adjusting. i can even fit my macbook with TONS of room! i love the space theme and colors, the stitching is really good and i think it will hold up nicely. i’m taking it on a trip to california (disneyland) so i’ll update after to see how it holds up. also, the manufacturer included a card that says they have a full 1 year warrantee (replace or refund) so that’s a huge plus. very impressed and would definitely buy again.UPDATE: this held up perfectly in disneyland and i’ve actually replaced this as my everyday diaper bag. still going strong, no problems with the zipper or any wear/tear. i also get compliments everywhere i go! such a cute backpack!

This backpack is perfect for my preschooler. His folder and spare clothes fit in there with plenty of room to spare. The chest clip is definitely a plus! It’s super thick to where it’s stiff but just flexible enough to be comfortable on a child. There’s a patch in the inside to write your child’s name on. We had slight issues with the zipper towards the end of the year but that can be caused by a child’s roughness when opening or closing it. I contacted CS and they responded very quickly and sent me a new backpack very fast! It was covered under the 1 year warranty. Great customer service and very helpful! I plan on buying another one as my child grows! Maybe one for myself!

My toddler is obsessed with moons and stars, so he was very excited to get this backpack. I'm pleased with the stylish design and colors, and that it looks good with most of his clothes.He's nearly 3yo, in the 80th percentile for heighth and weight, and this backpack is just a touch too big. He can and does wear it around on walks to our community playground, but it's a little unwieldy since it bumps against his butt when he walks, even with the straps tightened as high as they can.Aside from running too large, the quality is great. We haven't overstuffed it because it would be too heavy for my son to carry, but it has held up great with what he typically carries: one water cup, a small snack, a board book, and a couple small toy cars.The straps are nice and wide, and look sturdy. My son hasn't complained of any discomfort when wearing it, aside from the size issue making running difficult.I've wiped it down a couple times after getting a little dirty, and it looks good as new.I'm overall pleased with my purchase, just wish it was a little smaller.

Update:I was contacted by the seller and they felt bad about the backpack being broken and offered a replacement which was great customer service. I’m thankful they took the problem seriously and made efforts to correct it. So I’ve changed my original rating cus the backpacks really r great quality.I bought my sons these and they r super cute... but one backpack had a zipper that wasn’t right and couldn’t work. I’m sending it back but I would just love an exchange but now it’s gonna be 5 dollars more than when I originally purchased so I’m not too happy. They r made of nice quality and good size for kids. Also purchased the lunch boxes and they r cute.
