Don't worry about the temporary smell, easily sorted.
I was really please with these, could store more of the everyday things in the bedroom than I thought. And it keeps everything tidy, but easily accessible. The look good too.Arrived fast, well packed.Reviews complained about the smell. Well, it's seagrass, and they were sealed on polythene. Hear what you need to do.Take them out of ALL the packaging, stand them on the short end, they will quite happily stand on the short ends.It's the base that needs airing. And leave them for 48 hours, where there is some space around them.The smell dissipates, leaving a very faint woody smell, not unpleasant, and that fades as well.I found the quality as expected, They are sturdy, and pretty much true to square.Recommend highly

Nice enough - creates a uniform look as set of 4
These are okay - having a set of 4 helps create consistency on the shelves, but when the baskets arrived they were not all equally well-made. They were also a bit smaller than I expected - I had looked at the measurements but also was specifically looking for DVD storage and I guess had not taken into account that the bottoms of the baskets would be narrower than the tops. You can keep DVDs in them but only standing up vertically, so they are still visible because they are several cm taller than the baskets if that makes sense. It's enough of a solution for me but if I wanted more DVD storage again in future I might buy larger baskets or boxes.
