Exhaust fan
Although they changed item description as 6inch fan now... when I ordered it, it was described as 4in. fan and I received a 6in. No big deal then just sent it back right away for a refund. It has now been about 2 months and I have yet to see my money. Although plenty of emails have been exchanged somebody is not doing their job. I regret to say, once again I need to contact them :(

Not Great
Works ok, if a bit loud, for about a year, then needs replacing. I'm looking around for a better one with a sealed shaft or something to ward off normal dust buildup. Cleaning didn't lengthen runtime much.

A little weak... but it gets the job done.
As I read, it was 80 CFM, and that's fine. I was using it as a ventilation by itself (no other fans) for a small grow tent, and I found that it helps maintain inside temperature and recycle air for the plants. NOTE: It does not plug directly into the wall, it just comes with the three wires so that you can choose to wire it into a duct control, 120v plug, or anything else.

Couldn’t get it to work
I purchased this and the duct stat from my local store to help get more heat in my finished basement. I used it for 2 winters and couldn’t get to work properly. It was either always on or wouldn’t turn on. I tinkered with it daily and went through all their online help. It was above my drop ceiling so I don’t know if the heat from my recessed lights had something to do with the functionality. I even took out the ceiling tile where the stat was located, still couldn’t get it to work. It started leaking oil too, not sure from where. I just took it out, called it a loss.

Very Weak Fan
This is a two-star item, at best. It produces a very weak stream of air. The box indicates it is a 250 CFM fan, but this is misleading. The fan itself produces much lower CFM. The free air flow rating is more like 160 CFM. If you are looking for a fan to boost the air flow to a room that has weak flow from the vents, look elsewhere. I purchased this fan from Home Depot, and returned it to Home Depot. I ordered a Tjernlund m-6 from Amazon instead, and it completely solved my low-flow problems to two rooms on the upper floor of my house. The Suncourt fan provided no noticeable improvement at all to one room, the Tjernlund provided plenty of air for two.
