Excellent emergency torch
Very impressed with this torch which replaces a very much older, now-defunct, product. The light is bright, steady and clear, charging is easy and to date the battery is holding charge extremely well. Will be buying a second one for another vehicle's glove compartment! Not the cheapest such product on the market but the saying 'you get what you pay for' is always worth bearing in mind. First rate product and well worth the asking price.

Varta LED Dynamo Light
This is an amazing dynamo torch and much better than the last one I bought, about 4 years ago. It claims that one minute of winding produces an hour's light (from memory), and it does seem to need remarkably little winding to get a lot of light. The winding handle is robust and the winding action smooth and provides some resistance without being heavy (too light can be a problem). The torch retains charge between uses - can't say how long yet because I'm using the torch quite frequently (we live in a lane without street lights and the torch is useful to look inside cupboards and behind the computer). The beam is reasonably white, with only a hint of blue, and has a good range. The only issue is the stiffness of the on/off button. It seemed very stiff to begin with and either it's getting easier or my thumbs are getting stronger. My wife has to use an effort to turn it on and off but she's finding it easier too.

After 50 winds product remained light for 4 minutes. Useless for overnight use

A great little wind up torch
Winds up easily and gives a bright light for a suprisingly decent amount of time.

Light on product
It gives a very good light, compared to one I have had for a few years, but I find the switch hard to use perhaps I should have sent it back but I feel sure it will gradually get better.
