Hmm, I'm hovering between 3 or 4 stars here, I've opted for 4 because the sun is shining today.I was so looking forward to this one and to be honest I do like the pictures although I suspect I may prefer The Magical City. I've only coloured one page because my biggest bugbear is the paper, it's very smooth and of good quality but it's too smooth for my expensive pencils, somehow it seems to be hard work getting a good, even lay down of colour - for me anyway, maybe not for others, and I can almost feel the cores being eaten away as I use them - both Derwent Artists and F.C. Polychromos. So not exactly at the top of my pile of colouring books although I would like it to be and I will revert to my not expensive pencils when I decide to pick it back up again.

Good
Arrived quickly, good quality but the art style isn't really my cup of tea.

quirky and imaginative. Great fun
i love these designs. Paper takes wet media, but slight buckle. I dont care about that. I get lost in the quirky and imaginative designs.

liked......not so much
I am an italian customer. I like the work of Lizzie Marie Cullen and I loved so much The Magical city....this book is also nice, but I feel that is not at the level of the first one. I found a little bit childish the sentences on the pages and also I don't like the presence of Lizzie and her doggie...I don't know, maybe not for an adult coloring book. However I love her style and I would give a chance to this book so I'll keep it. I hope the next books will be more similar to The Magical city.

So disappointed. Not what I expected.
I've been really excited about receive this new book by Lizzie but so disappointed in the format. It's a journey through countries but with a childish story line and featuring Lizzie and her dog to colour in 50% of the images. Whilst the standard of the drawings I cannot fault I really do not like writing if this level through an adult colouring book. Too many stereotypical comments for each country. " We must pack tea and gin" for example for UK! I have returned the book for refund. Not put me off her books though and will be purchasing ' Bon Voyage' as seems to be similar format to Magical Cities.
