We have had customers use this in a commercial setting! This is the type of juicer they use in Mexican Markets to squeeze fresh juice, so it can definitely take some use.

Q: Does a measuring cup fit below the fruit press to catch the juice?

It would depend on the size of the measuring cup, but I've definitely fit a couple of different measuring cups under mine! The area where the cup would sit is about 5.5'' wide and 6'' tall.
