Great.
I have used this for years and it still looks after my hair. I am over 80 so do have to be a bit careful.

A good perm for Lockdown
I decided to perm my hair as getting on the list for a haircut was going to be difficult around here. The instructions were clear and the process was particularly easy for me as I had no one to assist me. I spent as long as I needed putting my hair in perming curlers and only when I was ready did I apply the perming lotion. One tip - Do use the cotton wool barrier which helps protect the face from the lotion. I was a bit gung ho and ended up with the lotion in my eyes - and it stings!!The result was a lovely soft, flattering wave and I'll definitely use this brand again.

Odd
I am well aware that we are no longer in the European Union but not having instructions in English was a bit off !!!!! Several other languages but not English......the box was in English but nothing inside was. Most odd...perhaps the seller might want to check on this. The 4 stars are for the product alone. This is what it is like when you get instructions in a foreign language...........Does dim pwynt cael camosodiadau mewn iaith na allwch deall......

Easy to use
Loved this kit. The foam and sponge meant application by myself was made easier. The foam meant you could see where you had done...also meant less dripping than previous kits Ive used. This comes with end papers and 2 cotton wool lengths to protect your skin while using kit.

Know what “sensitive” means!!
The perm kit itself was great, but be aware of what it means by “colour treated hair”, it does NOT mean bleached, it means just dyed. I found this out the hard way and had sheep wool for hair for about 3 months until it grew out enough for me to shave it all off (I have short hair anyway so shaving it all isn’t new to me) but PLEASE do not perm hair that’s only been bleached for 2 weeks even if it says it’s a sensitive perm

Does NOT work, unless you want a frizzy wavy 80s ‘do!
The long and short of it is this DOES NOT WORK! I don’t know HOW on Earth the other reviews are stating anything different, but from my experience on using it on my friends untreated hair it doesn’t work. It’s wasted time and money on a result that has gave her a slight frizzy wave at best!Yes we followed the procedure correctly (I have some 20 years hairdressing training so it wasn’t that!) and we used the correct rollers and even followed tutorials online as well as the instructions given with the product but it just didn’t do what we were expecting at all! Please don’t look at the model on the front of the box and think that’s what you’ll be able to achieve at home because that’s just not the case. My guess would be some creative editing has taken place whereupon either the model has naturally curly hair or curlers have been used to achieve the affect. Not happy at all. Cannot recommend.Where perms are concerned I will always recommend you visit a professional hairdresser, and that’s the only hair change that I would say that for, everything else I have successfully achieved at home, on either my own or other peoples hair.

Ease of use and fantastic results
First time my wife has used this, due to lockdown she decided to try and do a perm herself the instructions were easy to follow and having to put the perm on after winding perm curlers made it easier because it didn’t matter how long it took her to put curlers in, also being foam it was easy to put on the curlers and no mess. neutraliser was also easy to put on with the sponge and then the conditioner made the perm nice and soft and natural looking. Would recommend this perm so pleased with the results.
