Typical UGREEN high quality dongle
This dongle fits Ito an existing desk setup allowing me to use an HDMI switch to present my mobile phone to the USB C port and act as a computer. Update Using on an MEG Ace Z790
Initially i couldn't set up this motherboard just using this adapter with the USB-C/Displayport to get a signal from the Intel i7 14th gen IGPU intergrated graphics to my LG C1 TV or on an older hdmi 2.0 TV, So i brought a GPU and all was good seting up. I tested the adapter with my gigabyte laptop on a thunderbolt port and it worked first time with a old hdmi 2.0 TV Samsung. I tested it again on the new MEG Ace Z790 after installing windows 11 and intel drivers and wot not, also changing hdmi settings to gaming and then i had a signal from the intel IGPU, It also worked on a really old cello TV that i had no signal before trying to get into the bios? on my LG i can go 4k with the intel CPU video signal off the motherboards usb-c/display port. I needed this adapter to test the usb-c display port and intel graphics were working and i got there in the end with help from this Ugreen adpater and only hdmi TV's. All is great and working fine, Very good product and i will buy again most definately

vdeo output works but DDC does not
Video output works, but DDC is not functional through this, so not possible to control brightness, contrast, input selection etc. through software on the computer. I like using my keyboard to alter brightness etc. as using those silly buttons around the back of monitors for input selection and picture control is not a good experience.

I’ve used this for quite a while now, compact and excellent overall. Does the functionality it’s designed for, never had an issue, picture quality is as you’d expect and it was a sensible price too. Nice piece of kit!
