Speedy Pet Roman blind kit 120cm Metal Headrail with side cord operation - sufficient cord for 240cm drop

I have made numerous Roman blinds before but this is the first time I have ever used a kit. It works really well. The blind tape is really very neat, the cord lock works well and the instructions are clear and it is easy to fit. The clip on rings and the cord toggle are excellent ideas and they also work really well.The only reason I have given it four stars is that there are only enough tape, rods and rings to make five folds and the instructions simply say to divide the panel into six sections. This means that the folds are very deep and if you were making the full depth of 240 cm you would have pleats of 40 cm. When the blind is up, they would be 20 cm deep. You are also left with the whole of one depth of pleat hanging at the bottom of the blind i.e 40 cm. This matters less if you are fixing it outside the frame but if, as I was doing, you are fitting it inside the recess, it would cut out a lot of light. I solved this by putting an extra set of rings on the bottom bar.On the whole I am very pleased with it.

This is a great kit. I shopped around for a while and was surprised by how expensive Roman Blind kits are. John Lewis was the obvious first stop but they're even more expensive there and more importantly, have really quite bad reviews. I took a chance on this one and wasn't disappointed. All the items in it are really good quality and the instructions are very good and clear. I also think the cost is fair now that I've seen and used the kit. Roman Blinds aren't exactly difficult to make but they are a lot of steps so they are quite fiddly. However this kit certainly made it easier than it could've been.

I'm in the process of making it however, the instructions are extremely easy to follow and I have high hopes that it will turn out looking very smartly finished. The quality of the parts are very good and I've already recommended it to friends.

this blinds kit is really good! we had some spare fabric and used it to make the blinds. it's easy to use and the effect is really good. it works well and it runs smoothly.

Really pleased with it brought for kitchen window very easy to ensemble clear instructions only hard part deciding what fabric to use!!!!!

Everything you need to make a roman blind except the fabric. Easy instructions and easy to put up. I will never spend hours measuring the gap between rings again. A great find
