Can work for MSA3 - there’s a trick
So I was like most of you, digging thru the reviews like - why aren’t my new filters working with my NEW machine?!- I also fell victim to the bundles Amazon curates for us. So you can imagine my surprise, anger, and frustration I felt when I went to install my new filter 3months later (that’s how long before I got the signal to change) and it WOULD NOT TURN ON! So after much yelling and cursing Amazon for “doin me so dirty” I started to dig... and I FOUND THE HACK! So the ORIGINAL FILTER has magnets to the right of the little white strips where you pull the filter out from. (There are 2 magnets. One on each side. Only need one for trick. Save other) You’ll have to rip the strips and you’ll see on the inside to the right of that a small piece of cardboard in there. RIP THAT SUCKA OUT! The magnet will be attached to that. These magnets are the company’s way of “keeping us loyal” to their products only. PFFTTTT HECK NAW! I ripped them babies OUT! And I taped one to the bottom left from the center. Just move it around that area until you hear the BEEP! And tape it there! Boom, any filter now works! Ya WELCOME!
