This was a gift for… my wife who loves to garden! Yes, she actually said “I’ve always wanted one of these”!So, I made sure the batteries were fully charged and laid it out for her before the weekend came but… before you know it, I had trimmed our cherimoya, guava, persimmon, peach, nectarine, and orange trees within 2 hours, filled two large garbage bins with branches, twigs, and leaves before the weekend came !=oxYes, I’ve always wanted one of these too! I can say it was fun to use but the clean up of the aftermath took longer than the cut-up time!=ox It does not cut like a hot knife through butter but it cuts really good… Try not to cut a thick branch as instructed. It will get stuck and you’ll have to turn it off, wiggle it loose, turn it on again, and cut on the other end to cut a thicker branch. Make sure you have a stable base if you’re on a ladder… You really don’t want to recreate a Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie scene in your own yard!=ox Follow the easy instructions for complete cutting pleasure and safety!=o)The only thing that was not right about this but did not affect the ratings is that it didn’t come with the chain saw oil. I used the WD40 gel and it worked well, like a charm! There’s really no need to clean it afterwards, just spray some oil and turn it on.One precaution, use all of the personal protective equipment (PPE) that came with this… goggles & gloves. They helped me from getting splinters in my eyes AND cutting my fingers! The saw continues spinning momentarily when you take your fingers off the trigger & safety button. Luckily it hit the gloves and tore a little portion open, without cutting through my finger. So, don’t immediately touch it after it’s turned off. Let it stop spinning for a second or two…Happy cutting, be safe, and have fun in your backyard chores!

This is my second tomyvic 6" chainsaw. I bought the second one as a gift because I have been very impressed with the quality of thIs saw for the best price in a six inch saw by other vendors. It is a very tough saw. Being a senior citizen with a 5 acre yard there are aIways limbs to cut. It is light weight...has two batteries to charge. I can cut varied limbs with the saw. Just make sure you oil the chain before and during use if you cut a lot. Hut it. You will be VERY impressed.

My biggest complaint is the chain needs to be tightened often, and the battery doesn’t last long enough.

This is one of the greatest things going for trimming tree limbs! I have a gas powered and electric powered chain saw. Both are heavy and unwieldy for small projects. Nothing beats the versatility of this great little hand tool. I have never had to change batteries while working a spring project. The second battery is at the ready but is never used. Powerful and Very Sharp blade. This winter in Northern Michigan was very difficult. We had tree limbs down all over the property. This year, I was able to cut them down to size while loading in the trailer which saved time and left tons of room in the trailer reducing trips to the brush pile.

Nice small chain saw with guard. I already had a chain saw that uses the same battery connection wherein some of the batteries had failed. This saw provides extra batteries that are compatible with that saw. I use them for trimming palm tree fronds and boots. It is fairly easy to loosen and tighten the chain. The stringy stuff from the palms has to be removed as it will bind up the chain on this or any other chain saw. You have to remove the tightening cover to do this.

My hubby won't let me use a "big boy" saw , so I bought this. Works great for tree branches. Ease of use, Having two batteries, easy to clean, cuts great and size of saw easy to use

Wasn't expecting too much from this, but have been pleasantly surprised! Bought for my wife to trim small branches around the yard, but when my gas chainsaw went kaput after a major wind storm, I had to make do. I wouldn't recommend this for major tree cutting, but I was amazed at what this little sucker would chew thru!!! Very light, and it's not terrible on the batteries. Makes me rethink my opinion on battery operated tools!

I love tools and this one is exceptional! Dare I say it is fun to use. I go around looking for things to use it on.
