Check Width when ordering... Awesome product either way
Check to make sure its for a Tacoma.... they offer 2 different sizes.... For a Tacoma you are looking for the long version...... Width wise.. i got the short one but still works :/ my mess up..... does not specify for what vehicle..... but still will live by K&N!!!! Run in all my vehicles !!!

Cheistmas gift - K&N like it
I have put a K&N air filter it my last 7 or 8 cars. For some reason I have not done this for my (beater truck) Tacoma. This new type of filter from K&N is fantastic. Maybe it's just me but I think the performance is improved a little bit and the sound is enhanced as well. Very satisfied, recommended.

Didn't really notice a performance increase. Just knowing it is a K&N filter is piece of mind. Been using their products for over 30 years. Not one issue on any of the products in that amount of time.

May be more porous than others
Good quality filter - seems the filter paper is more open than some white fibre filters which may let more particulate through.
