This is a wonderful product, it is so easy to use and clean. I have arthritis in my hands so can at times experience pain and a lot of weakness. However, this whisk is still so smooth and easy to use even when I am having a bad mobility and pain day. I have owned it for 8 years now and it is still going strong. I cannot express just how impressed I am with this whisk after many years of using inferior ones that have caused both frustration and disappointment. If you are looking for a hand held whisk, do yourself a favour and get this one, you will not regret it.

I was slightly sceptical as to whether this new design would work as well as my old hand whisk. As a fan of OXO Goodgrips products I decided to take the plunge. I had nothing to worry about it works really well and that fact that the beaters can go in the dishwasher makes it a definite winner.

This is an easy use and long lasting egg/cream whisk, whilst the bottom is a tad difficult to removed, the beaters will come out quite easily. This is the most long-lasting hand whisk I have had, and is regularly used. IF however you try using on cake mix or anything more solid there is a risk that the beaters will become loose in the drive, allowing the beaters to go 'out of sync' and hit against each other. It still works, it's just quite noisy. The beater saddle on mine failed - repaired with epoxy - and now after four years the rubber is starting to de-laminate on the handle. Time I think for a new one, but this has been the longest lasting by far of any beater I have had. I will buy the same again, and this time treat it with a little more care, and not expect it to go more than it is designed for. Buying cheaper open-gear models are I find a recipe for disappointment and frustration, and I have tried many, from cheap throw away ones to more costly branded ones, none have compared to the Oxo.

Easy to clean. Easy to hold. Ergonomic. This whisk is an absolute pleasure to use! It is really easy to clean too! One of its best features is that there is never a feeling that your hand/hands are going to slip - beautifully constructed and whisks really fast and well! Yes, it is a little more expensive but you really do get what you pay for here! I cannot recommend highly enough! It would be an excellent whisk for anyone slightly older or suffering and form of disability too due to its ergonomic features.

I love the size of this egg beater. It is strong, well made and the perfect size to fit into a small bowl. The mechanism runs smoothly and it is easy to clean when disassembled. 2 buttons disassembled it. The beater fits perfectly and neatly into a drawer.

This asked me to rate them on durability and that makes me a little suspect. I've had them all of two weeks and used them three times. Unless they were made of marshmallow - they're gonna make it through that battle ground.Actually these seem suspiciously good. They have a good action, smooth but not too loose y'know? I appreciate what that last sentence sounds like but seriously, fellow foodstuff scramblers, get your heads out of the gutter.They ARE easy to clean. The handle is easy to hold, (though I guarantee someone is going to end up with an embarrassing emergency room story about how they tripped and "fell" on this) and the little leany bit at the bottom is actually dead handy (though not as new and innovatey as they claim - I'm looking at you Oxo copywriter :P).Great beaters. My eggs have never been so scrambly.

I like an old fashioned manual whisk and have had two in the past, one had a side handle and one had a top handle and they both gave you cramp in your hand if you used it for too long! They were also a bit rickety, slipped out of alignment and were fiddly to clean.I love this whisk!! It's easy to hold, ambidexterous (which is good because I have a lefty in my family) and it's so easy to clean. The pieces come apart and go together really simply and this makes it a breeze to wash. The mechanism is encased in the top, so you don't have any dealings with that and it's kept everything smooth and in it's place so far.I never thought I could get so excited about a whisk, but if you need a manual whisk then definitely buy this one!

We are so pleased with this hand mixer. Makes light work of beating eggs up nice and fluffy for cakes, omelettes or scrambling.Already recommended to friends.The price was a bit more than I had expected for a hand mixer but on reflection you get what you pay for and it was well worth it - I expect it to last well.Particularly like the fact it takes apart so easily for cleaning - a release button separates the whisks on their holder from the handle mechanism, no need to wash the whole object each time and no fear of getting water trapped in the handle part. It's also not a cumbersome object and fits into our standard cutlery drawer with ease.Satisfied customers!
