The good:1. This thing is heavy and feels stout, particularly for the price.The bad:1. No install directions, it’s not rocket science to put together but it takes some time. Layout all the pieces and look closely at the pictures here on Amazon. I had to disassemble and reassemble a few things. I’m pretty handy and this took me about 4 hours roughly.2. Paint is horrible. Every piece is scratched or has paint defects.3. Fit is terrible, in particular the brackets that hold the bottom of the ladders don’t fit the contour of the hard top at all. I spent about an hour just rebending these on my bench vice.

The first issue was the right side of the rack had multiple scuff marks. They will not replace the part and offered to pay $20 if I take it to an auto body paint shop. I have no idea what the real cost will be. I pointed out that the way the parts were packed in the heavier box allowed the two sides to move in transit. Who knows if this design has changed as they wanted to know the "lot" number on end of box.The second issue is it will not fit my Jeep properly. Reaffirming the need to return it. So be aware that if you want to return it, you have to foot the bill for shipping all this metal to Mobile Alabama. I was also informed they will charge a restocking fee. They did not specify what the charge will be. Originally the parts were shipped from California. Sending it across country the shipping cost will almost be equal to the cost of buying the rack.I did see the youtube video on the guy who installed an identical rack. I did not see his one year follow up video where it had more cons than pros. The real issue is the brackets are not well designed nor are they mentioned in any pictures or descriptions. In my case they rest against the metal body and will most likely scrap the paint off over time. The second issue with the bracket design is it raised the hard top over an inch. It makes you question what kind of seal you will have. Being in the desert may a disadvantage.Update: the supplier has now offered a $50 rebate. I thanked them and reported that I am optimistic that I can make this rack work by having new brackets made after seeing another Jeep with a similar rack but different brackets. I also reported how well the shipping boxes were constructed and suggested zip tying larger parts together to prevent movement.

Made of good qualities steel. But they failed to send instructions in the package and when I asked for them to email me some instructions they emailed me the instructions, but the instructions do not show where the brackets go, but I found a similar product on Amazon that has the same brackets and was able to figure it out off of the photos of it

Very nice, well made. Came in two boxes, each piece wrapped in plastic. Not a scratch or dent. No directions, but I really don't think you could put it together wrong if you tried, just going off the pictures. Only issue I had was the ladder brackets had to be bent to fit. I also put a rubber backing on them to protect the jeep's paint.

Two boxes of steel, and absolutely NO INSTRUCTIONS or guides, key parts DO NOT FIT. Cool once you get it mounted after alterations and redrilling.Delivered on time, looks really good in the end, plenty of spare nuts and bolts luckily. Sure would have been nice to not have to guess how to put things together.

Comes with no Instructions, so hopefully you can peice it together from the pics. Holes aren't drilled properly, hardware is absolute garbage. Only reason I gave it 2 and not 1, was because it was cheap af and looks cool. Hopefully it doesn't fall apart when it's used.

Now I have scrap metal in my garage and scratches on my hardtop. Does not fit properly under the hardtop. Do not purchase!

NOT meant for 2 door JK and I knew that. Did some minor drilling on the jeep and two extra holes on the rack. Hardware is all stainless steel so use anti-seeze lubricant.Front and back of frame was a little bent when delivered. You will get two boxes shipped.
