My belly piercing is only about 2.5 months old, so I don't want to completely take out the jewelry when swapping. I needed this to stretch out my old piercing worked as a charm ! Not for you to use as a needle to pierce it’s only if it’s already open !My belly ring went straight in after the bar with no problems!

This is NOT a piercing needle!!!This is to use for changing out difficult jewelry.For example, I have a post that goes through my nostril and then you have to feed a little stem into the post that has a jewelry attached at the end. I have both nostrils and my septum pierced. It's difficult to put the little post in without this. (Imagine trying to add new laces to your shoes eyelets)This will hold your post and then you slide this through the hole.You can even get the ones that are slightly larger than the guage you have now and stretch the piercing hole.These are awesome!!!

I got fresh cartilage piercings. My piercer did use an oversized post to accommodate swelling, but doesn’t believe in switching jewelry. So, once swelling wasn’t a concern I had to switch the jewelry myself while the piercing was still fresh or risk it getting snagged by my hair. This tool saved me. I may well have lost the piercing if not for this tool. It made it doable. Thank goodness I knew I needed this tool before making the attempt.
