Champion Juicer – Greens Attachment – Grind Wheatgrass and Other Leafy Greens

I watched a video on YouTube which demonstrated this wheat grass attachment and other wheat grass juicers. Since we already had the Champion for the last 8 years, it seemed that just buying the attachment would be better than purchasing a whole new appliance - and I'm glad we did.The wheatgrass juice came out room temp and sweet. We put the 'fiber' through twice to make sure we got all the juice out. If you rinse the wheatgrass with water before juicing it, it helps 'lube' the machine so to speak and it juices quite nicely (or just rinse the attachment right before using). Wheatgrass itself is not the most 'wet' material so having a little water in there really does help the juicing process. It also does spinach and kale nicely too.Very happy with our purchase.

This is surprisingly horrible! I expected better from Champion. I'm so disappointed in the quality and how wet the pulp is as it is extracted and even after multiple pass throughs. Champion must know most people would return this if they could and therefore they limit returns to only 1 month. I would rate this a zero if I could. It is so overpriced for the value. The greens come out better without this special attachment, and better in my less expensive Omega Juicer.

Doesn't get all the juice out of the greens like I expected it to. Mayes I'm asking too much of it.

Works perfectly for wheatgrass or anything leafy, better than most. My wife got a kick of doing wheatgrass every day. She does it on her own now and clean up fast.

I had the exact same problem many others stated. I actually have bought three, because I grow my own wheatgrass and juice it. The first problem is all three broke where the plastic connects to the base. It is a cheap plastic that breaks with little to know pressure. I intentionally only put in small amounts of grass and it still breaks. The last one only lasted for about 5 uses! As far as getting juice it always did do well on producing juice, but I always had to run it thru twice. I would not recommend at all and I am looking for a metal attachment that won't break, I would be willing to pay more if it would hold up. Picture attached.

It is hard to turn the Champion into a greens juicer but this does work fairly well for not having to buy another machine, and I've found when doing kale and real leafy type stuff, that if you run the pulp back through the machine 2 or 3 more times it really does get a lot more of the juice out. If you already own a Champion juicer for the reliability and strength and want to just have an easier way of doing some greens get this.

Best Juicer ever, especially with the greens attachment. Great for making frozen treats. I could have bought 4 of these for all the money I spent on other juicers that simply did not have what it takes to be the best, the Champion-- so correctly named. Worth every penny and more.

It was good while it lasted, which was less than a month! I have been following the Gerson Therapy for about 45 days. Obesity has been one of my physical challenges since I was 6 years old, I am 53 now. I managed to take off about 10# and at this point all I do is juice plus a few other small meals. I NEED the juicer to work EVERY DAY.PROBLEMS I PERSONALLY ENCOUNTERED WITH THIS ATTACHMENT:1. BLACK ON BLACK provides no contrast. It is difficult to SEE the separate parts, particularly how to screw the nose piece on, which has been taking me a long time each time to assemble.2. The parts stick together for the first two or three uses, difficult to disassemble for washing by hand only and cannot be reused without washing each time or else will hurt the Champion.3. The nose piece is integral, without it pulp flies all over the kitchen.4. I tried to glue the nosepiece back on, glue would not hold up even for one use.5. Over priced item, does not perform as expected over reasonable period of time, or bad workmanship on the nose piece.Having some of the parts in contrasting colors would help, for instance JUST casting the nose piece in white or a different contrasting colour would help customers SEE it. Alternatively, making the nose piece ONE piece instead of two might also help prevent this problem of the end piece cracking in the notch that holds it onto the end there.There is no kludge I can come up with to correct this problem, nor is it a good use of my time because I JUST purchased this and have used it for less than a month, I used the Champion without this attachment for a few weeks, and had to stop and start after each cup or so of juice.I will be getting myself a new juicer before too much longer. Feedback sent to merchant and hopefully some kind of refund is forthcoming...if you are hoping to buy this instead of a new juicer, you're not buying yourself more than about 2-3 weeks of use! Get the new juicer!I did put a silicon funnel on end like Victorian dog collar, it sort of works.

Hallo zusammen,nach dem ersten Test der Maschine ist klar geworden,dass die Entwicklung in den 50 er Jahren stehen geblieben war.Durch die Fruchtfleischkomprimierung im inneren verlässt der Saft nicht immer an der vorgesehenen Öffnung die Maschine.Ein entsprechend guter Abtransport dessen ist nicht gegeben.Von Gewicht und der ab platzenden Farbe der lackierten Füße,sowie der schlechte Abtransport des Fruchtfleisches mal abgesehen,ist nichts an der Maschinen auszusetzen.Einziger Wermutstropfen,man muss das Entsaftersieb separat bestellen.Bestellung und Anlieferung war problemlos..Gruß
