High quality bypass lopper. It is light, but has strength where it counts (blades and hinge). The handles are extendible and hollow. I have issues with the lock mechanism unlocking while working but it's not a deal breaker.Remember to keep the blades clean and it will last for ages

The most pleasing aspect of these pruners is that they are lightweight. Sometimes I'm doing jobs that are hours long, and these do the heavy duty pruning without the heavy duty weight. I still keep my large loppers because they can cut up to 3 inches....wouldn't do more than two and a half with these. But they sure do make a long day a lot less taxing. My only complaint is that on one handle, the locking mechanism for the extension slips to unlock sometimes. I think this has to do with the fact that I'm left-handed and pulling them from an opposite direction. Nevertheless, it can be a little aggravating. That's the only characteristic that fell short of 5 stars...otherwise, I LOVE THEM!

I purchased these in January 2015 and have used them heavily for 2 and a half years.PROS: The cutting blades are extremely good. They stay adjusted. The loppers are easy to disassemble for a thorough cleaning and sharpening. The handles have not bent even at fullest extension and during some heavy pruning.CONS: The adjustable handle feature of these loppers began to fail within a few months of use. They would not maintain the length as set, whether the handles were fully collapsed, fully extended, or some place in between. Because I liked the quality of the cutting assembly, I learned to live with this as an inconvenience. More recently, both handle extensions began to fall completely off the bases. Apparently the crimp holding the extensions to the adjusting mechanism failed. Today, one handle fell off completely.CONCLUSIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS: It's with mixed feelings that I give these a 3-Star rating. For the adjustable handle feature, they receive 0-Stars. For the cutting jaws, they receive 5-Stars. For the future, I plan to simply choose a convenient length, drill through the meaty part of the base handle, and screw the extensions at one length. I guess I would recommend these for their cutting ability. In fact, they are probably the best pruners I have ever used for cutting. Anyone who buys these in an adjustable version needs to be prepared to live with mediocrity.

very light for loppers, cuts through whatever you can position correctly in the cutting position, when fully extended. sometimes when you naturally twist your hand, you may unlock the handle extension mechanism, not a big deal, rubber bumpers work great to relive impact

I ordered these after reading some excellent reviews. They work like a charm; however, the very first time I used them, one of the rubber bumpers broke right off. I contacted the company, but its been more than 2 months, and they have yet to respond.

This is the best garden/yard tool I have ever purchased. I saw it in an Oprah magazine and bought it from Amazon. A great quality tool that cuts through thick branches very easily. It is a little more money but so worth it.

Not bad, does what I expected. The telescoping handle seems a little silly as it really wasn't too much of a difference in or out. Didn't feel up to commercial quality, but OK for home use.

I love using this tool. It slices through appropriately sized branches easily. It's easy to lengthen and shorten the handles. Everything about it is high quality. The color makes it easy to see if I set it down somewhere.
