My brother surprised me this Christmas with a Logitech G29 steering wheel with optional shifter. I mounted it to a TV stand out of the box but quickly realized that just wasn't going to work.I looked at many racing simulator cockpits but this one in particular stood out. I have a very tight space so needed something that would fold up when not in use but also wanted something that would be more than just a lawn chair with a steering mount and not break the bank.I have spent a good 18 hours in this simulator and I couldn't be happier with it. I am 6 foot and the seat fits me very comfortably and the pedal mount adjustments are plenty long enough for accurate leg room. Another nice feature is that the steering wheel and gear shift mount hinge to one side when getting in and out of the chair so no special tricks for getting in and out of the chair. There is also a stabilizer foot so when the steering will is hinged up, the chair doesn't tilt over, (it feels very stable with this steering wheel in the hinged up position).Another thing I really like about this setup is where the actual shifter mounts, a lot of the simulatora have the gearshift right by the steering wheel but this one mounts it a bit lower for more of a natural feeling of having it in the center console. This bracket can also be mounted on left or right to simulate right hand drive cars if desired.The only thing I did run into that you will want to watch for is during the assembly, the bolts that hold the ratcheting supports are longer than the diameter of the tube frame so you will just want to lightly snug these up with the provided allen wrench to prevent frame damage, (believe this is where some people have had troubles by forcing it tightly against the frame and weakening tube frame). I put a little medium thread lock on these bolts to prevent them from backing out.Overall, I am very pleased with this simulator, it's honestly nicer than I was expecting. If you are looking for a foldable simulator for a fair price then look no further.

This thing is very comfortable, adjusts multiple ways without being overly complicated. I'm 6ft tall and didnt feel crammed, it could have gone even longer than I needed it to. Set up and break down is really easy, its secure enough that I was comfortable leaving all the controls attached. Folded up with the wheel and pedals in the picture. The only complaint, the wheel losens up after awhile, any tighter will damage it. Not a product flaw though, just part of attaching to a round frame. Great buy for the money.

I've been a long time racing player but never had a wheel setup until now. This cockpit fits my needs perfectly that it folds up and can be stored to the side without taking up too much space. I'm only using a logitech G923 with pedals for now and it works fine. Mounting and cable management works easy, but not perfect. It's pretty stable when sitting in it, but definitely not solid, which is to be expected. The force feedback gives the chair a bit of a rumble throughout when driving over curbing and bumps which inadvertently adds a touch of immersion, like you are sitting in a car.Con: The adjustable height of the wheel portion is not amazing, and came loose during a race causing issues. I'm sure it can be modified or tightened but it looks to be made of plastic and is a bit flimsy. There is noticeable play, up and down, if you push or pull the wheel too hard. Not a deal breaker but just something to be cognizant of. I would probably not recommend a direct drive wheel but the lower end beginner wheels work great.

Pros: It feels sturdy enough for the price, it folds nicely and easily, it’s comfortable to me, it’s got good adjustability, and it all assembles nicelyCons: The plate for the shifter does have a little too much wiggle in it, however if you tighten the screws the wiggle goes away, the top of the seat is curved inward a little too much (but it doesn’t actually feel that bad), and there is no where to put the wires (however you could just buy your own wire holders).All in all, it is great for the price and works very well for sim racing, I would definitely recommend this

I liked this seat because of the portable design and the seat design. I feel like any nicer seat or thicker frame and I'm just going to get a roller.I couldn't do a freestanding wheel and pedal setup so this is more solid and would lift on you unless you really abuse it.Fabric is nice but you can tell it won't stand the test of time. I've been gaming in it for a couple months and it is starting to show wear. Nothing major, I'd just like it to remain looking new if I could.The adjustments are pretty limited so be prepared to be surprised in a bad way there.I'd give this chair an 8 out of 10. Looking forward to my next setup for sure.

A complete and utter piece of crap in every sense. Shame on Amazon for selling this. - I put stuff together all the time, assembling this was a total cumbersome mess, no help whatsoever from the manual, just pictures, no words. - Once it’s “together” it’s wobbly and the steering column knob doesn’t keep it tight, it’s all over the place, total joke. Returning immediately, thank you for the one hour waste of time. Stay away from this product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Love this easy set up and very comfortable. Have only had it for a week as of this review but well worth the price.

Good quality item. However, it’s small and a little uncomfortable. It’s hard to adjust once is set as well.
