Excellent book but not great value
Sometimes you spend a bit more on an item for your baby and realise it was completely worth it. I don’t feel this is one of those items.I think the book is great. The pages make a scrunchy sound, which grabs my daughter’s attention and she loves touching the front cover with its 3D owl face. I enjoy the rhyming and the fact that it features some animals less commonly encountered in baby books. She’s a bit too young to really understand peek-a-boo yet, so I suspect this book will grow on her. However, I’m not convinced it’s worth the money. It is good quality and it’s by a trusted brand, but it is quite expensive. There are lots of sets of six books available for a similar price. To me, this book looks better, but maybe not six times better! My daughter is essentially interested in bright colours, hearing my voice and putting the book in her mouth, which I think she could also get from some other cheaper products. There are so many baby things to spend your money on. I don’t think this is one of those excellent value purchases.

read all the good reviews and decided to buy one for my baby
This book is quite popular, read all the good reviews and decided to buy one for my baby. It's been only a few weeks since i bought this book, the beak of the owl on the cover has already started to come off, the stitching is coming undone. its supposed to be a baby book , and babies will most definitely chew on it when they begin to play with it. My baby being just 3 months old has not started to play with it as yet and seeing that the beak is already coming off i don't think i will let her play with it .This is an expensive cloth book, the quality does not meet standards of child safety, am disappointed with this product. Did not expect Lamaze to sell such a bad product .

Nice but too pricey
My seven month old loves this book and follows while I read it to her. She also likes the feel of it. The reason I didn't give it more stars is that I think it is too expensive for essentially what is only five pages or five sentences, and the book feels like it's over before it has began!

Waste of money - poor quality poorly made
This thing was a waste of money and dangerous. I bought for Christmas and only unwrapped it from the packaging today to notice that there was a large jagged piece of plastic sticking out from the fabric - I assume the stuff used to make a crinkle sound - the stitching was open and this exposed. I’m glad I didn’t allow my baby to play with this otherwise she could have choked.

Quality good but not stimulating
Appears to be good quality. However daughter not too bothered with this book. Therefore not invested in any more fabric books. We have instead gone for board books which she likes as the stories are better.

Baby loves it
Baby loves this book. It's full of the crinkly stuff they love. It's brightly coloured and has a loop handy for linking it to pushchair. It hasn't got a great many different textures though and I just felt was expensive for what you get.

Lovely
Was slightly disappointed with the amount of pages in the book for the higher price tag. But nice it has a variety of animals not just farm yard or jungle like some books.

A lovely first book
This is the third I’ve bought for grandchildren and we love the Lamaze series. High quality, colourful and durable. Always worth the investment.
