Karcher K7 Premium Full Control Home Pressure Washer - Yellow/Black

When my old Bosch unit finally gave-up (and I had had it a long time), and was no longer repairable, I looked around for a replacement. I knew of Kärcher from my years living and working in Germany, and knew them to be a decent make. Lots of models to choose from and lots of features which I was sure I did not need. I also have the problem of low water pressure which I knew could cause a problem with too powerful a unit. However, I still wanted the highest pressure I could get, and as close to a "professional" unit as possible without the £2,5K+ price-tag. (although hot water would be nice). As this one has "adjustable" pressure I decided to buy in the hope the pressure here would satisfy it. And, the good news is that most of the time I can use it at maximum setting, or very close (except when a washing machine or similar is running in the house). At this setting it is an excellent piece of kit and makes me wish I had replaced the old one a long time ago - would have save me a lot of work and time. The jobs I was doing (cleaning cars, caravan and mostly patios) have been reduce in time and effort considerably, with the patios being cut by more than half. It also cleans better than the old unit (possibly as a result of the old one having been repaired so many times?), with a far greater pressure, and the inclusion of the patio cleaner (head), which I did not think would be up to much, is great as it really does work and reduces time even further. Good selection of nozzles, and extensions; easy to set-up (comes assembled) and the hose reel is a brilliant feature which takes a massive amount of pain out of using it. Hose is also very long. I have seen mention of "nowhere for the power cable" ... I simply wind it around the hose reel after the hose is in place and that works fine. Heavy, but extendable handle makes moving easier. No noisier than any others I have used/seen/heard. illuminated pressure indicator necessary, but I will probably not bother to replace the battery when it runs out. I guess it is near the top of the price range, but I am impressed and hope it lasts as long as the unit it replaced!

Only tried it once so far and it works well, I have had Karcher pw before so I know the quality is good.;

For the first day I thought it was an amazing piece of kit. Then on the second day the controller on the gun started to play up and would not let you change from hard to soft. On the 3rd day water started spraying out of the casing of the power washer itself. When working great piece of kit but mine started to fall apart after 5 hrs use.

I know quality when I see and handle it. A premium product that I feel will last and spares will be available in the future should I need any. The rotating brush head cleaned my large patio area in less than an hour where it took a whole morning with my old lance machine. The lance extensions are useful to reach awkward places like the apex of my conservatory roof. They are quick to fit and remove with a push and twist.. The long hose is neatly wound in on a spool making packing away and storage quicker and neater.

Works well enough. Good pressure and flow rate. Why did they not think about the stowage of the mains cable and tools ? A minor point maybe but who designs these things !?

An exceptional bit of kit. You need good water feed rate. The amount of cleaning work that it devours is incredible. Large slightly tired looking block-pave driveway, 3 vehicles, caravan (low pressure) and a motor cycle - all literally like new in no time. Marvellous! 3 Karcher pressure washers now over the past 24 years - and how cool is this one!Quite an investment level required at about £470 plus a load of ancillary tools / brushes - but after one afternoon I reckon it's almost paid for itself already. A contractor would have easily charged almost this. Glad I went with the latest highest spec K7 Full Control Home version. Incredibly prompt next-day delivery with the usual Amazon attention to detail and a reassuring excellent customer experience. 10/10 ! Thank you.

Works well with plenty of power, not going to repeat what every other reviews have stated but is worth the extra cash with ease of use and gets the job done quicker with the extra power.I have got a problem with the jet nozzle not spinning hopefully this can be resolved with the supplier.The only caveat I can see long term is the Patio cleaner head which is slightly bigger than the model below it but uses the same the exact same extension arm.When cleaning a drive way or patio I would strongly advise to use it back and forth rather than left to right in order not to weaken the small plastic lock wings that attach to the trigger gun.
