This is a 2023 expanded version (10,000 words). Overall, it is excellent. Being a non-American production (British and Indian), there is a possibility of British translations, but so far I've only found a few (for example, in the parts of the ship).I checked pronunciations of several words in the app, and they were correct.It's worth nothing that this is a large and pretty heavy book, but I rather have more words (with nice illustrations) than fewer.

Very thorough/comprehensive. Excellant for youngsters and adults.

This book has everything you need to learn German, that is easily categorized by subjects.

Some of the words in the dictionary do not match the words in the app. Example: Page 62, #12, the dictionary, has the word "die Decke," and in the app, the word is "die Sitzfläche".This dictionary only provides the English meaning of the German words and not the literal translation. Learning the literal translation is crucial to learning any language, so I've written them in myself (see attached photo).For example: "Kühlshrank" has the English meaning: Refrigerator. The literal translation is: "Kühl" = cool "schrank" = wardrobe.So, when I see the word "der Kleiderschrank," I know the word "schrank" is "wardrobe," so I already have an idea of what type of object we are talking about: a cabinet-like structure for storage (not a refrigerator). In this case, a wardrobe for clothes.What I do like about this dictionary are the photos, its wide range of vocabulary, organization of the contents, and the app.
