Hamster Cage Habitat, Critter/Gerbil/Small Animal Starter Kit Collection

For the space amount and price point, this cage looks like it's the best deal. And price wise, it kind of is. However after about two weeks, I ended up buying a different one and returning this one. Here are the reasons why I warn you against buying this cage: 1. Assembly is difficult. No easy feat. Took me about an hour or two. It's not that its complicated, it's just that it refuses to want to stay together. It was VERY frustrating. One of the hooks holding the sides together ended up coming off, which became a problem, I'll get into that later. 2. The water bottle is faulty. It just leaks water into the cage and continuously flooded the floor. I even tried to put a little bead into the spout so it would work like a regular water bottle, but somehow it ended up sucking the bead halfway into the spout so my poor hamster couldn't get any water. I ended up tossing it and using the heart food bowl as the water dish. 3. The slides that allow the hamster to go up and down the three levels did not want to cooperate. I ended up only having one level for my hamster to crawl up to because the second slide refused to stay in. Plus, with the house, it made it really hard to close the top and this gave me ample room between the top and the roof of the house included. 4. My hamster got out. She is a determined little critter, and crawled up to the top and somehow pried open the opening up top. Thank goodness we found her safe and sound. 5. The side where the hook came off had just a small little gap, that my hamster tried to squeeze through and ended up almost choking herself as she got caught between the bar's with her face sticking out and her body still inside. I was so lucky to have been in the room when she attempted this and heard her little screams, otherwise she would have either choked herself or my cat would have heard her squeaking and came to investigate.The only good thing about this cage was it was fairly easy to clean, but again, assembly proved to be a headache each and every time. There is a much better cage available for just a couple of dollars more and has both bars and plastic walls which I think will be better. For reference, this cage is better suited for a very small hamster. I have a white Russian dwarf hamster and it kind of felt a l I title cramped for her, but then again, compared to the cage that she was living in when I bought her from PetSmart, this is a mansion.

Came quickly and packaged well..everyone thought it small but is fine with me..directions suck..too tiny to read/see pics but we got it together by looking at the online photo..very sturdy one together..has to hot glue the house down to platform or it keeps tipping over..not sure what to do about feed bowl..chloe kicks her bedding out everywhere so may need to get an aquarium instead. Update--extremely tight when trying to fill feed bowls..had to glue everything down because her weight tipped them over..hence, have to rig ways to put food/water in her bowls..poop accumulates in the house and hard to get out..looks good in theory but not practical for me..wish I'd gotten an aquarium instead.

This thing is so small, horrible material, everything falls off, to change food or water you need to disassemble the whole thing because your hand can’t fit inside to grab the feeder and water. Don’t buy, I threw mine away

This is really cute and it's a perfect size for two DWARF hamsters. They seem to love it. Once it's put together it's pretty sturdy, but assembling it is like a house of cards. All it takes is for one previously assembled piece to shift a bit and you have to start all over. Which takes us to cleaning - you have to take it completely apart to clean, so at minimum you'll be assembling this thing once or twice a week. The water bottle is awful. It's a constant drip so it had to be replaces by a proper water bottle.If you have little money, but lots of time an patience for cleaning and assembling, this is a great value. Me? I'm shopping for another model after just one week.

Great case and cute design with all the levels. My only warning is that while it is roomy and fun, it is meant for a very small mouse or dwarf hamster. Our hamster was a regular sized female and she was too big for the penthouse at the top 😂. So now my kids want a mouse. 😖

So I have a hampster and I bought this cage hoping it would be a fun little home for her. Well when it arrived the packaging was destroyed..the water bottle was broken...it didn't come with the little house or the exercise wheel, and the cage itself is very hard to assemble.. yet once its up it is very flimsy! I received parts and an instruction manuel for a completely different cage! Very dissatisfied! As far as I can tell it is chew proof I suppose but other than that its pretty useless.

This cage is awful, the inside tiers don't fit well together & fall apart when you try to move them to get them into the proper position. The wheel attachment didn't work either. I got so frustrated trying to put the tiers together that I ended up just taking the whole thing apart & initiating a refund.

This is by no means a cage for a hamster. Our max can’t even fit in the house provided. The food dish holds nothing. The metal bars are already broken as they are welded together cheaply. Would not recommend this product at all. I would return it but the hamster pooped in it already. Off to the pet store to get a REAL hamster house. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Cute little cage. Maybe a little small, but it is as advertised.We use this so our little hamster isn't left upstairs all the time. The cage sits nicely on the side table in our living room.The kids bring the hamster down when they get home from school. And he goes back to his other cage at bed time.This ensures that the hamster gets attention everyday.

J'ai acheter 2 sourrie et l'or de lasenblement de la cage .. j'ai réalisé que ya une plateforme déformé et ce place pas bien dedans la cage je vais communiquer avec le vendeur pour qui menvoi une Nouvelle plateforme mais apar ça. Ses bien. Petite mais bien niveau grosseur

This thing is a joke. I was expecting something my hamster could actually fit in. The wheel... how in the hell do you expect a hamster to even fit in it,let alone run in it. My hand is bigger then the wheel.. the food dish and water bottle?? Not even sure what to do with that. I'll gladly return this, at no expense to me, but I'd like my money back. Only positive thing is the metal and the plastic bottom. The levels don't sit properly and pop out. Wheel does not stay put and looks like a toy, as does the water bottle. Food dish was okey, but this cage will be sitting collecting dust; had to buy a new cage from different Brand.

Was a lot smaller than anticipated. Hamster could easily pop the house out and get out of the cage.
