Bought this for a trip to the beach. Went through a couple heavy rains and nothing was even damp when I opened the bag! Great build and Is sturdy. Have used it multiple times since and extremely happy with it!

Hitch extends about 24 inches from bumper. On my camper it’s also about 2.5 feet from ground. Very sturdy excellent construction. Clear instructions.

Took this to the coast and it worked like a champ. Lots of tie down options, bag was super thick and durable!

This cargo carrier works great for anyone looking to expand their vehicle's cargo capacity. We used it on our 2011 Cadillac SRX for a three week trip to visit family. We were bringing our dogs and knew we wouldn't have enough room for all our stuff and them. (They are both large dogs.) The cargo rack handle all of our luggage, dog supplies and miscellaneous necessities with no problem. My husband loved how easily it installed on our tow hitch, and the security of the locking mechanism. We also loved the storage bag that holds everything, and sits perfectly inside the rack. We had rain on the trip, and this bag kept everything completely dry. It zips and Velcro's closed, insuring there is no way water can creep inside. I can, without hesitation, highly recommend this cargo carrier.

I got this to haul our coolers for camping in our Model Y. It fits nicely in the receiver, but it's tricky to get the wobble arrestor installed due to the plastic mud guard around the hitch.The unit will fold in when folded up, and will hit the trunk on our car, and can scratch the paint. I added to wooden blocks onto the railing to get it to ride at a 90 degree angle when folded up, and it no longer hits our trunk.It's great for holding bikes, and holds my mom's wheelchair nicely for bigger family trips.The cargo bag stays dry at fits nicely in the rack. Keep an eye on the straps as you route them as they can twist up.

Some parts were damaged upon arrival. The damaged piece was wedged inside the big pipe piece. Some of the protective coating is broken off from being wedged in. I'm concerned this may cause rusting and make it a fail point. Also, no assembly instructions included in packaging.
