A must-read for anyone leading people—or themselves
As a leadership coach and co-parenting strategist, I’ve read my share of business books, but How Leaders Can Inspire Accountability stands out in all the right ways. Michael Timms doesn’t just define accountability—he reclaims it as the foundation of healthy leadership, collaboration, and culture. This book helped me reframe how I coach individuals navigating conflict and transition, particularly in high-stakes situations like co-parenting. The concepts are clear, actionable, and refreshingly human. Instead of relying on compliance, Timms challenges leaders to model the ownership they wish to see in others.I found myself underlining passages, applying the ideas immediately, and recommending it to leaders and coparents alike. How Leaders Can Inspire Accountability is one of those rare books that bridges theory and practice with integrity—and it’s one I’ll return and refer others to to again and again.

Informational
Good book I thought it was geared more towards education (my error) but it’s just for general leadership but still informational.

Practical and applicable
This is a practical, down-to-earth book that has helped me so much during the last two years. I keep getting back to it and re-reading parts of it. I realized that Tim's practical steps are easy to follow, easy to teach, and easy to scale up.I highly recommend this book. Especially the "Engineer a Solution" part.Excellent read, and useful for today and tomorrow.

My Book Club Read This Approvingly!
The higher education book club I participate in reads books on and related to leadership, meeting monthly to discuss several chapters. This was our latest. We all really enjoyed this book and were able to recall specific work situations in which we could have put these ideas into practice. And we will, moving forward. It's also an easy read, and the author has resources for us to use. Give it a read!

nice
Yeah OK. Sounds great. Until you have to deal with the sociopathic reality of corporate business.

Very practical
Great book. Tons of practical insights and methods for self improvement. The title doesn't do justice to the content.
