I bought this for my 12 year old daughter. It’s cute and still covers her where she needs it. It’s so hard to find bathing suits for that age that are stylish and doesn’t show too much.

My daughter liked the suit online, but less so in person. We usually get a Billabong, O'Neill or Roxy swimsuit (traditional surf and beach lifestyle brands) b/c you get great quality & style. But we thought we'd give this one a try b/c it was sooo cute.Style: Very cute onlinePrice: Very affordableFit: Just okay...we kept adjusting it and it never seemed to sit right. My daughter is a very slim 9.5 year old and we purchased the 9 - 10y size, but no matter how much I shortened the shoulder straps, or removed the bra insert, it didn't seem snug? Maybe b/c the top cross section is sewn so you can't tighten it and I didn't want her to have an accidental slip b/c she's your typical active kid who loves the water.Material: I found the material to be soft and perhaps more fabric like with the rib pattern than the typical nylon blend, but we found the material less appealing vs. the typical swimsuit material.Nothing wrong with the suit, but thankfully, we are able to return it since it didn't work out.
