I have the Pianta bulb which is great but it’s heavy…thought I could cut cost with a cheap light unit but no way, this one does the job and holds the bulb up well. Good grip on the clip, I put cardboard between it and the furniture to protect it.

The media could not be loaded. Clips perfectly to my Ikea shelves. The pads on the clips mean it does not stick to or damage painted furniture.The clamp and arm section are very strong and do not sag or drop at all.

They were working on a new version of the lamp and asked if they could send me one when they were ready. They kept me updated all along the way and it’s just arrived. It is very secure and perfectly holds the weight of the bulb. I’m really happy with it. I’m also extremely impressed with the customer service. They could have just issued the refund and left it there but they went out of their way to contact me and find me a resolution. I can tell from all the communication I’ve had with them that they really care about their brand and customers. I would 100% buy from them again and recommend.Original review: I’m not sure if the item I have is faulty but it does not hold the weight of the bulb at all. There is no grip in the rod no matter which way I turn it. I’m really disappointed and think I’m going to have to send it back.The other reviews talk about how sturdy the product is so I’m not sure if I should try to reorder a replacement?

I was unsure about purchasing the branded version of this over a lightweight one but I'm glad I did. The Pianta bulb is quite heavy and this clip is extremely sturdy, I haven't had to adjust it once since clipping it to its desired location. I definitely don't have to worry that its going to fall off and damage my plants!

Very stable

I use this with my 36w Sansi bulb. It does have a sturdy neck, but still droops a little with the weight of the grow bulb. Happy with the design and colour-it's hard to find a lamp that safely caters for both 36w and looks stylish! Would recommend

Very pleased with this product. Would definitely recommend. I now own 5 of these and use them with a selection of bulbs to over winter my exotic houseplant collection. They are so adaptable. Easily holds any E27 lamp from the Pianta 18W to a Sansi 36W. Built to last. Gooseneck is robust and very strong. Clip bites like an alligator. Really nice finish. They look stylish in the home.Did a bit of research before purchase. Many cheaper options are prone to failure. My motto has always been 'buy right, buy once'. The Grow Gang have been diligent in selecting their product range. I have found the company an absolute pleasure to deal with. I'm sure anyone unlucky enough to have an issue with one of their products, need only reach out to them.As another commenter mentioned, in a few situations it would be handy if there was a longer lead option perhaps. This is not insurmountable however.
