I did not have to remove anything other than the tow hooks to install the bull bar.
I really like the looks of this on my ‘17 Sierra. Removing the tow hooks on my truck to install the bull bar was easy. Getting the mounting plates into the frame rail and securing the bull bar was rather time consuming and frustrating. I may have been better off just reusing the mounting hardware for the tow hooks.

Tough Lookin BullyBar
This thing is built well finish is awesome looks like a million bucks on my 2019 Silverado. Once you remove the tow hooks, one comes out easy one not so much, I blame that on Chevy. You can tape a stick to the bar with the stud/bolt welded to it to get it in place, unless you have fingers like ET. I bolted a 24’’ LED light bar under the cross bar and it looks great.

Just right and easy install
My truck is a 2007 and wanted to sport it up a little without spending a ton. So I purchased this and was very close to paying to have it put on. Don't! IF... u have the time.. like an hr or so, (i did it myself, no help) and are pretty savvy with reading instructions and putting things together, then save your money. If I could do it, then so can u. Just make sure your mounting brackets are compatible with your frame underneath. So match the yr and make of your vehicle of course and make sure the holes line up with them before you start building the actual bull bar. Was not complicated at all. Just read instructions carefully and don't rush it. Save that $$$. I put a before pic, then an after. I also had 2 new style headlights put in too that I got off Amazon. Like I said , just wanted to sport it up a little and I love the results so far.

This is not sturdy at all
I backed out of a drive way and it caught the edge and bent the heck out of it. I'm trying to get the bracket that got bent but TAC is putting me thru the BS to fix it. It really looks good on the truck but its way to expensive for something so flimsy and only going 2 miles an hour.

Clean look, easy install
Easy to install and looks great on my truck. Much better quality than I was expecting for the price. And pairs perfectly with the Nilight 20" bars.
