This is a very sturdy stand that attaches to my 2018 12.9" iPad Pro. The 360 rotation is very nice and my iPad does not wobble when I press on the screen when I am in portrait mode, like some other stands do.Three words of warning:1. This will not work with the iPad in a case. The magnets are not strong enough for that. But as long as. you take it out of the case, the iPad will stick there.2. The magnets are pretty strong, but they're not "super strong." If you seriously rough house the iPad, it might fall off. I've been typing on the screen without issues. But don't expect the iPad to stay on there if you knock it over by accident.3. There is a pole on this that sits behind the USB-C port. So, if you use an angled charging cable with it, the pole might be in the way.I use this at my desk to look through rulebooks of RPG games during my weekly gaming session, and this makes the iPad more useful that my physical books, because it takes up less desk space.

Purchased this stand mainly for FaceTiming our granddaughter. Love being able to be hands-free and not have to worry about dropping my iPad or keeping everything in the picture every time we move around. This stand is very sturdy and even works with the ESR magnetic case that I just purchased! Also love the 360° rotation. This was the perfect purchase for us!

This product is worth the price! You can find cheaper iPad stands but the look, feel, & functionality make this product stand out. I enjoy being able to rotate it at will and hearing the ticks makes it sounds high quality. Very strong magnetic hold.

This iPad stand would have checked all the boxes for me, except for one small issue I’ve run into which is linked to the design of the stand’s base. The stand rotates and tilts in multiple directions, which is great because it allows you to position your iPad in almost any way you’d like. The issue I’ve run into has to do with the weight of the base, or lack thereof. Unfortunately, the base is not heavy enough to counterbalance the iPad in ALL positions, but it does in most. I purchased this stand specifically to use my iPad as a second display and/or via Universal Control alongside my MacBook Pro. In order to align the displays perfectly (because OCD), the bottom edge of the iPad (in landscape orientation) needs to hover about 1cm (~3/8”) off of my work surface. Unfortunately, the base for this stand is not quite heavy enough to counterbalance the weight of my 12.9” iPad in this position, and the iPad topples forward. Instead, I have to lower the iPad/stand all the way down until the bottom edge of the iPad is resting on my work surface. Not the end of the world and doesn’t render the stand unusable, but it would have been perfect if the base had enough weight to it to counterbalance the iPad in all possible positions. The upside to this drawback is that there’s less weight to lug around for those who intend to travel with this stand.

I use this stand to put my iPad pro on when at my home office. I like that it magnetically attaches and hold strong to the back of the iPad. The quality of the components is top notch and I really like the hinges and the click-indexing on the rotating stand. Everything feels very high quality and seems durable enough to last a lifetime.I did notice that the pad on the bottom of the stand gets dusty quick and will keep it from sticking to the table to allow the stand to spin properly but its easily cleaned with a moistened paper towel and you are back in business.Perfect for a kiosk where you know people are not going to take off with your iPad maybe a front office check in station.I use mine to bring up my cameras to see my house cameras while I am working in the basement.Great buy! Really great product.

It holds my iPad in place very well, but my biggest gripe would be I cannot use any cases on the iPad in conjunction with this. I've tested 4 different ones and the magnet just isn't strong enough. I'm always very careful using it without a case on, but it still worries me enough that I don't see myself using this as much as I initially planned.
