After some issues, I really like it - don't pay more than £80-90 though.
You pays your money and takes a lucky dip with Erbauer, I've read some horrible reviews elsewhere about quality control - I have this model (bought from Screwfix) and it has none of the issues others posted on their website. It is very powerful and thus heavy but it does run It runs very smoothly and the locking mechanism and depth stop work fine for me. One really good point is the soft start - I had an Erbauer biscuit jointer and that started with a ridiculous kick which made it move location easily. This router is easy to use and for the price is great value.EDIT:The stiff plunge has resolved itself and this is now a very nice machine to use. I'm getting great results and looking forward to extending my use into dovetails and all sorts of other cuts.

good value for money (if bought from screwfix)
5 stars due to value for money although i bought mine at screwfix for 89 so very much cheaper than amazon or ebay.... no its not equivilent to a £200+ router but then thats a very very big leap in price. great for the entusiast or occassional user.

A very good value router
Much the same as other reviews, I also obtained mine from Screwfix for £99. I wanted to cut a kitchen worktop that I was installing into a studio using a template for the right angle join. I was advised to use a more powerful router for the job so purchased this model. I also purchased their worktop router bit set to go with it. Never undertook cutting worktops before but this router made very light work of it. I usually buy Dewalt or Makita but as I had limited use for a router this size I did not want to spend a lot, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at just how well made this router is.

Outstanding Router at this price point
As owner of an ELU MOF177E (still available as a DeWalt) that died after 20 years, I bought this to do deep worktop cutting using a Silverline Jig and cutters, because I couldn't afford to shell out for the DeWalt. This machine is excellent quality at this price point, and made superb cuts of the kitchen worktops. Easy to set up, with fine adjustments, it is also a better design than the old ELU/DeWalt - although I accept I won't get another 20 years out of it...
