Prior to installing this item, I had to remove a pair of rather expensive Brizo faucets. They were so badly corroded, mostly due to the combination of different metals that were subject to galvanic action, However, unlike the Brizo faucets these were well made of corrosion resistant high nickel stainless steel and designed for easy installation with only two simple tools, a Phillips screw driver and a small Crescent wrench. I'm almost 80 years old, and I've installed dozens and dozens of faucets. We bought them because of their style and price but I know from experience, they will last for a very long time because of the quality construction, attention to detail and the intelligent design of assembly.

The media could not be loaded. This GagaLife Oil Rubbed Bronze widespread bathroom faucet looks and works great! It’s also easy to install, with all the hoses you need for installation. The quick-connect hoses makes it so you don’t have to struggle reaching up to tighten the hoses to the faucet. The only part of the hose you need to wrench down is to the shut-off supply valve. The height is perfect for washing your face, brushing your teeth, or filling the dog bowl, although it does splash onto the pop-up drain if turned on full too quickly. The finish does get water spots if not wiped down after each use, and would probably really show if left un-wiped, especially with hard water. It was kind of pricey, but a bargain compared to the bigger brand name faucets. Overall a good value for the money.

The sink is sleek and modern. The waterfall is a unique touch, but if you have high water pressure in your pipes then splashing over will be inevitable. For us, we upgraded from one sink faucet to a vanity with two sink faucets. I thought at the very least the water pressure was going to lessen but we have a newer built home and the water pressure was more than expected, this is not a bad problem but for a faucet like this where the water is basically sent through a small (which means it comes out faster) piping nozzle you really have to put the water on low for it not to splash over. It’s a little annoying from time to time to constantly wipe the splashing, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s a sturdy and competent water faucet. Water pressure is relative to your home so I would say it’s a great buy but when it’s being installed ask plumber to calibrate water pressure to your liking.

Do not buy these faucets! We purchased three sets of these faucets for two bathroom remodels. We liked the style and the price was attractive. All three sets were installed by a professional plumber. Within 8 months of use the hot-water valve in one of the sets broke. The valve did not leak, but it did not work either. I took the valve apart and discovered that the design was flimsy and constructed of plastic. There was no way to repair the valve. Since this faucet was in the bath with the double vanity, we had to replace both faucets to match. We purchased Delta faucets as replacements. The Deltas were much more expensive, but I expect they will give good service for years to come. Now I'm waiting for the faucet in the single bath to fail. I cannot recommend this product. Since originally writing this review, the cold water faucet in the single bath has given us problems. It doesn’t leak but the handle is now rotating past the stop position before the water will turn off. Rather than waiting for it to completely fail, I replaced it with one of the faucets I took out of the other bath. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before we have another failure. Again, DON’T BUY THESE FAUCETS!

The media could not be loaded. This was our third set. Returned the other two. The first one leaked. See image for enormous difference in weld quality at the source. Spend hours installing only to have it leak where it could not be repaired. The second set advertised brushed gold but was a much darker shade of gold that did not match the existing decor. Each price was gradually higher. We bit the bullet and bought the GIGALIFE. Should have started here. Color was as advertised. (Need to view pictures in reviews to verify actual color - good lesson) The water feed hoses were pre-attached to the faucet! The cold/hot mixing hoses were snapons! These two factors greatly reduced install time and stress levels. The instructions are a little light but most of the work is already done. Need to really tighten the drain plastic bolt and make sure it’s properly seated in the sink. It’s a marriage between the faucet and sink manufactured. Very, very pleased with this and will buy again. Proves the axiom that you get what you pay for. Not in all cases but in this case for sure.
