I used these matches to place in winter survival kits for my grandchildren's cars. They are reliable strike matches to use in inclement weather. I added a winter candle and small heat blankets into a decorative tin to keep in their cars. Now grandma is confident they have a backup source if they have stalled car issues.

A hurricane wind and rain could leave us shelterless. Wasn't overly expensive. Why not drop in my bug out bag. Honestly did buy the company's matches container which wouldn't answer how ordinary match would hold up in a storm.

I tested the two matches by getting them wet. They both lit up. No issues. The two remained lit for about30 seconds. Highly recommend this brand for emergencies or if you love being out doors.

These are great for hiking or camping. Sometimes the weather will not cooperate with your hiking or camping plans and one good down pour on a hike and everything will get wet or soaked. Easy to use even in bad weather. I have not used these often but when I did I was glad I had them.

If you camp, hike or are just preparing for...whatever, you need to have these. I needed some to fill out my four bug-out bags for my family so a four pack at this price was just what the doctor ordered. I live in SoCal and in addition to the blackouts we periodically have we're due for another big fire season. Electric Co. hasn't finished changing wooden poles to steel so if the poles go down in a fire, which has happened in the last few fires, you're out of electricity for weeks, possibly months. Most food needs to be cooked and that requires a fire and a method of starting it. I have three methods of making fire in all the bug out bags including these matches. They could literally be a life saver.

As an avid deep-sea diver and I'm obsessed with scented candles (Yankee is *my* brand), very few products align with my two passions in life. More times than I care to remember, I've had my normal (not Coghlan's 940BP Waterproof Matches) matches into my wetsuit, and you know what meant....no post-dive candles for me that day. But now, I can dive all day, and as soon as I'm back on the boat, I can light my favorite candle (currently Baby Powder).Oh, these are also great to keep next to the toilet for a post-dive dump. The sulfur clears the air on the boat in no time.
