IMPRESSIVE!. GOOD LOOKING BULBS, TOO.
Nice looking bulb if you go commando on the shade front, instant light up with no delay, definitely equivalent to 100w, and we love the cool white light. Not a fan of soft or warm white, which is really a dull yellow.13w for 100w equivalent and very long life? They've got to be value for money in the long term.

Brighter and cooler than expected. Good value.
These give a good light and they're brighter than I expected from an 8W bulb. They look good and screw in smoothly. The colour temperature is quite cool, so if you're looking for a proper warm light, this may not the perfect choice. However, they're good value and should hopefully last a long time.

Pleased as punch to a bright light at the side of my room.

Not a cool white light
They aren’t cool white but if you are looking for warm or nearly warm light, this is for you

Did not last very long
Great when first installed, but did not live up to the claim of 13 years at 3 hours per day. We used the bulbs for less than this, but the first one failed (just stopped working suddenly) after 18 months, and the second one has started switching itself off and on (when it is supposed to be on :-) after only a month.Going to try another brand now.
