Hybrid Mattress Everest 12" Pillow Top, Queen

I spent about a month reading reviews in my search for a queen-sized mattress for our guest room. Since guests vary greatly in size, weight, sleeping position preferences, etc. I was looking for a plush, medium-firmness mattress so that almost anyone would be comfortable on it.I wasn’t in a great hurry, so shipping time did not really matter to me. The mattress arrived in a fairly battered, broken box but it was adequately wrapped in thick plastic inside of the box so there was no damage to the mattress itself.It was very easy for my husband and me to unwrap and position on the bed frame but I would have had a very difficult time if I’d had to do it myself because it is quite heavy.Once released from the plastic wrapping, it inflated really quickly and looks really nice but it quickly became evident that the top is definitely not a pillow top and the springs are positioned ready close to the top layer of foam - not sure how comfortable that will prove to be to someone spending a few consecutive nights on it...I have lain on it a few times in the past two weeks and find it to be REALLY firm. As as side sleeper I prefer a more plush pillowtop style mattress and don’t think I would enjoy sleeping on it. I can only hope my guests will find it more welcoming than I do. My husband and I discussed placing a plush topper in it if we get bad reviews from any friends who sleep on it.One thing the reviews were completely accurate about is the fact that there was no smell at all when we opened it and none since that time.All in all, this mattress appears to be sturdy and well made except that, in my opinion, the springs could have been concealed under a thicker layer of foam/topper. It is much firmer than the many reviews I read led me to believe but that is likely only a matter of personal preference.

Pretty disappointed. Reviews mentioned how firm it was. Which is what I was looking for. This bed is far from firm. I’m 165lb and in a little over a month (and of course the return date) there is a divot where I sleep. My husband has been complaining as well. We bought a different brand for our Camper which is truly firm. When you have a bad back you need a firm mattress. Should have just bought some ply wood atleast I would have known it was going to be firm lol!! If the seller sees this and is willing to work with me past the return date PLEASE contact me. States it's a soft 5 out of 10 firm but boy it's wrong. It was defiantly a 10 on the extreme firm. Barely felt the top foam layers just the spring coils. I rather sleep on the floor knowing I'm actually going to be on a hard surface. I had better nights on a air mattress. Beware I might of gotten a dud. But Amazon customer service is GREAT. helped me resolved this issue. You can ALWAYS COUNT ON AMAZON TO FIX IT 😀The Mattress itself looked great, well packed and once open it inflated to full size within minutes. That's the only good thing I can say of the mattress though.

I was nervous about buying online, took me about 2 days to finally oder ths bed. A good friend bought the same brand but in king and told me how much she loves hers, so i went ahead and ordred. I read the mix reviews from people on here and started to panic a little "what if its to hard!" "Oh no its got a rip or something!" When we got it, we opened it up and it popped up quick! The moment i layed my body down, i was in love! I have lower back problems since 2012, with my old mattress i was always in pain. First night sleeping in this one i felt like i was floatng in the clouds! Over the weekend i didnt want to get up! My back was feeling wonderful again! Went back to work and my back isnt killing me at the end of the day! Tired but not sore like it use to. My boyfriend isnt snoring much and hes sleeping in better! This bed is amazing! I love it! Even my cat loves it!

Although this mattress had superb ratings on Amazon and third party websites it is of very poor quality. Since purchasing it 2 weeks ago I now have horrible back problems. As a 160 pound male I sink right into the bed, there is no support. Can even feel the springs through the pillow top.Would not recommend.

I'm an obese side sleeper and this is the most comfortable mattress I've ever owned. No pressure points, and almost no turning during sleep. It gained height and shape in a matter of minutes.

I've had this mattress for about two weeks now. It is very comfortable and I like the way it looks. I give it three stars because it has a lump in the middle. It was delivered wrapped up like a burrito and vacuum sealed I liked that. Most definitely a good buy but 3 stars because of the lump.About two months or so on -I am happy about my bed. Everything is still holding up material great and still comfy!

Mattress didn’t even last two years. There’s a huge crater in the middle of my mattress. They say they have a 15 year warranty. We’ll see.
