Wow! That's all I can say.
The first time I used this camera was to view the 2024 Solar Eclipse from Central Ohio. You can see how good it is. This camera in conjunction with the Sharpcap software is amazing. I'm very amateur at this, it didn't take me long to figure out.Based on the magnification I'm getting, it's approximately a 5mm aperture, so my 750mm Newtonian gives me a 150x view. A perfect and inexpensive starter camera.I love not having to stoop and squint at the eyepiece anymore.

Works great until
Works great until it heats up then the image is quite bad.I can only get 20 minutes of images. This is in AZ USA so it’s 90 degrees outside at night.They need to have a cooled version of this for $250. I’d buy 2.

Great camera for what it is
Depending on your setup this is a great camera if you have the proper setup it can offer decent quality pics with the the right scope and operating systems

The planitary camera that can do deep sky.
I am liking the deep sky EAA images I am getting with this camera and the 60mm guide scope as the imaging telescope. Budget friendly and fun. Field of view is about 1 degree.

Never worked tried everything. UPDATE Sent it back truing a different brand. VERY DISSAPOINTED

Works great for guide cam and takes ok shots.
I use it for my guidescope camera. It does take decent planetary and lunar shots however.

Not great support for MacOS!
I spent The Weeknd trying to get useful images from this on my MacBook with no luck. The claim MacOS support is via a piece of shareware software that has little or no support and does not seem to support all the capabilities of this camera. It is old, not very user friendly and is very complicated!Bottom line, this may be a great camera, but on Mac’s it is hard to use! DEFINITELY NOT FOR BEGINNER ASTROPHOTOGRAPHERS!!!

Didn't work at all
Received the camera and tried it out on our Orion 16" dobsonian telescope. Total waste of time. Camera does nothing. I downloaded and installed the two software packages (SVBONY camera software and the recommended Imagery software). The camera produces a white glare when pointed at a bright light (end of a flashlight for example), but shows nothing from the telescope. Tried all manner of settings, exposure, focus options, etc - nothing. The camera never showed a single image or even a blur through the telescope. Returned the unit.
