Norway - Michelin National Map 752: Map Paperback – 9 Jan. 2012

Took a week to deliver but once here it's worth the wait. It's a huge map covering most of Scandinavia (just missing southern tip of Sweden and Denmark).Probably better for planning a journey ahead of time, due to its size and detail it'll be difficult to use in the car unless you fancy completely occupying both front seats, obviously not ideal when the car moving!

Even with Google Maps and GPS, a paper map is always helpful for planning a trip

It,s ok for what I wanted,to study at home.It,s very large and the paper is thin so for traveling it,s not so good.

As always, the Michelin maps are a great scale and full of useful detail.

Helped get us from A-B on our trip to Norway. Usual high standard as expected of Michelin maps. However as Norway is such a HUGE country if you are only touring one area I would recommend you get a larger scale map of just that region to make navigation even easier.

Such is the long, thin, lopsided shape of Norway - blame Slartibartfast if I'm remembering right - that this map has at least as much Sweden on it as it does Norway, and we ended up just using one square of it for most of our trip. It was still fairly useful though in adding to the very localised view you get from sat nav in the hire car and several times revealed alternative routes and places to visit we might otherwise have sped by.
