1KG Gravel Chipping Stone Slate Deter Weed Garden Patio Pathway Plant Topping - Tweed Pebbles

Freshly foraged?
I'm not quite sure what I expected when I ordered overpriced gravel over the internet, but what I got was a small plastic postal bag full of pebbles of various sizes, some whole, some not, all with a coating of sandy soil, plus a dead leaf or two. As I was using them for indoor purposes, I had to give them a thorough washing before use. Can't really complain since, as I say, I ordered overpriced gravel online, and I got overpriced gravel.I really must salute whoever turned popping some pebbles the post, totally au naturel, into a money maker. I would, however, quietly suggest giving them a rinse, and maybe even picking out the chipped bits before sending, as customers might not be buying with an aim to dump them back out on the ground again (though, I realise, many may be). For six quid, and for such a small bag, it would be nice if you could go to the bother. In all honesty, given what I got, the next time I need gravel I'll just nip down to the Thames with a carrier bag.

a joke
what I have received looks nothing like the picture. the stones were actually huge and look exactly like the gravel you find on the street... Next Time I won't bother paying for stones, which by the way is only 2 handful... with that you can't do much really, can you!
