Superb translation
This is a superb translation into English of one of the works of perhaps the most influential Sufi scholar today. I say that because while others such as the Naqshbandi or Qadiri may have many thousands of followers the teachings of ibn Arabi are read by nearly all Sufi orders, many non Sufi Muslims and a great many non Muslims. The book also includes an introduction by a contemporary scholar Sheikh Muzaffer Ozak the late head of the Jerrahi Sufi order of Turkey. The translation is crisp and easy to follow and is not bogged down by complex terminology and while the book emphasises that it really should be read with a Sheikh it is an excellent way for the lay person to ascertain some understanding of the Sufi path.

Subha'nallah
Allhamdullilah we are all on a journey to seeks Allahs pleasure if we are not going to reflect upon the lives of those close to Allah what chance have we got? Allah swt has said his wrath is with those who have nothing for his 'friends' and those involved in usury. This is a very useful book for somebody on the journey to seeking Allahs pleasure.
