I have been dehydrating food for years. Last Christmas my other half got me this Cosori dehydrator. We were using my Excalibur I’ve had for 15 years, and definitely needed a second dehydrator for all the fruits and veggies from our garden. After reading countless reviews, we settled on this Cosori. We liked that it is stainless steel, easy to clean, has a timer, is all electronic, heats up well. Nice to be able to set it and forget it! It dehydrates just as well as my old work horse Excalibur, which I still use. Makes excellent fruit roll ups, we are dehydrating everything, I’ve even dehydrated marshmallows, which are a crunchy tasty sweet snack! It’s definitely a nice machine, worth the money, and cost considerably less than the similar new Excalibur.

The COSORI Food Dehydrator for Jerky is hands down one of the best kitchen appliances I’ve purchased in a while. I primarily use it to make dog treats, and it works flawlessly every time. The 176°F temperature control ensures that the treats are dehydrated perfectly, and the 5 stainless steel trays provide plenty of space for all the ingredients I need to dry. Whether I’m making meat jerky, fruit slices, or veggies, it handles everything with ease.I love the 4 presets, which make it super easy to select the right settings for different foods without having to guess. The 48-hour timer is also a great feature, giving me the flexibility to start a batch and have it ready whenever I need it. Great compact machine to make home made snacks and single ingredient dog treats. Very quiet, reliable, and can run overnight. Set times may not always be accurate but this depends on overall humidity levels in your area, you can easily adjust to dry for shorter or longer amounts during the dehydration process. Would reccomend for anyone who is looking for a great compact machine that takes up little counter space and can be stored away easily. Satisfied with my purchase so far. Only downside is that you may have to purchase more trays if you want to make fruit leathers or fruit jerky. Other than that, it has been an enjoyable process using this machine.

I used to use an Excalibur dehydrator that I would borrow from a neighbor during backpacking food prep season. When she moved away, I decided to purchase my own dehydrator. And I’ve got news for you: this dehydrator is BETTER than the famed Excalibur in so many ways. Smaller footprint. Quieter fan. Simple settings. Easier to clean. All metal trays (not plastic). I simply love it and for half the price of the Excalibur, this is a steal. I got the silicone non stick trays with a small edge on them to use for dehydrating meats and fruit leather and sauces. They work perfectly and this machine dehydrates like a dream.

After the first batch of homemade beef jerky made using NY Strip Steak, this is easily the best dehydrator I have ever had. I have had several of the stacked plastic units and they just are not as good. This unit hold temperature very well and keeps it even through all the racks. No need to move the racks around during drying to keep the drying even. All the trays are metal. They won't heat crack or brake, and they are dishwasher safe. The unit does need about 20 inches of counter space font to back to work properly. The fan draws air from the back of the unit, which needs about 2 inches of space from a wall or other objects. Warm air is exhausted from the sides near the front of the unit. It is not rated for outdoor use and must be used inside. The digital temp control and timer work great.

Having a family full of beef jerkey lovers I wish I'd of ordered this sooner!! I had a different dehydrater for awhile, and the jerkey was a hit or miss constantly. My very first time using this, I knew it was a winner. I cooked just 1 batch jerkey as a test run. The machine was extremely quiet, but my kitchen filled with yummy aromas quickly! 2 hours for 1 pound thin beef jerkey and to my surprise, it was done! It fits nicely on my counter, it has Plenty of room to do a full batch of jerkey, and it's appearance is appealing. The jerkey flavor was incredible, Speed to finished product Outstanding! Value for the money is by far top tier! The timer has automatic shut off, such a great feature! I cannot say enough about this dehydrater, A + Not sure why tho I can only do 2 stars?? This deserves every star possible.

I’ve been using this dehydrator regularly and I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s easy to operate, quiet, and dries fruits, vegetables, and herbs evenly. I love how I can make healthy snacks at home like apple chips, dried mango, or even veggie crisps.The trays are spacious and easy to clean, and the temperature control is accurate. I’ve already recommended it to several friends. Great value and great performance, a kitchen essential for anyone who loves homemade, preservative-free snacks.

Only thing I can say that isn't positive is that I wish it was a little bigger BUT this was labeled and advertised as a Mini so I cant really complain. Works great (so far) quiet and looks like a quality machine.the recipe booklet has some interesting ideas too- great addition to my kitchen and Id recommend it for yours
