Magicshine MJ-6512 Aluminum Handlebar Mount

I bought this to mountain bike on leased bikes in Cyprus, the terrain was rough but even with that the screw should have remained in place. Lost the screw and now the rest is useless. However the bracket did hold my Garmin in place until loosing the screw on the third day.The seller contacted me about the above issue and I informed them the only issue was the screw, however the seller rather than just sending a new screw replaced the complete unit.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Initial view after insulation and before any road trial. Visually and to the touch quality of the product is very good, only time will tell if material quality stands up to rigours and vibration from bike. The shims are of good material; a 22.2mm shim would have been useful as fitting to Jones H-Loop.Garmin feels secure, but there is a little more play than other mounts I have - time and miles will tell if this is problematic[I chose this clamp as design allows back for a Garmin Edge 1000 to hang over the back of the bar, thus allowing access to the USB charging port enabling external power / charging over longer rides.]

The media could not be loaded. Great product but has a slight flaw.So I wanted a Garmin mount that sat on my handle bars that didn't consist of elastic bands and this appeared to be the only real option.Initial impressions were very good, sturdy aluminium bracket with a hinge mechanism for easy fitting along with a selection of rubber inserts to fit all sorts of handle bars & positions.It holds nice and firm on the bar, unfortunately I found my Garmin 530 cycle computer wiggles slightly in the mount which translates to rattling on rough trails.I'll be trying to remedy this problem myself as it stands, it's a shame as it's quite a lovely bit of kit and worth the money if it held the Garmin securely with no wobbling/rattles.

Brought this as my old bracket snapped. This is a lot stronger and better quality and great value for money

This product does the job . It was a little bit of a loose fit which was easily cured by the application of a couple of washers under the bolts on the top,
