Really good material. I used for composite holes repair

Plug holes easily
Working in a table and wanted to plug the screw holes with matching grain. It took a little time to get used to them and some testing for the hole sizes but once you understand how to keep it from bouncing around. But the sharpness is good and I had no issues.

Cheep, but I got what I paid for
These were listed as 1/4", 3/8",1/2" but they were metric, close but not exact. I needed a plug to repair a hole in a oak floor. I made 2 plugs of different sizes and they worked. There was some smoke but the plugs were not burnt and worked as I had hoped. They were packed all together in a plastic bag but they did not appear to be damaged.I got what I expected, a couple of cheep plugs. I would not buy these if I needed a lot of plugs.

Awful. You get what you pay for.
These arrived in plastic bags. There were 3 bags total. One had all sizes of one type, the next bag had all sizes of the second type and both of those bags were placed in a larger bag. These all were loose enough to bang cutting edges against all other surfaces and obviously these were super dull. Tried to use the 1/2” on red gum Eucalyptus and it stalled out within the first 1/4”. I tried again to use on some construction grade pine and it only got to 5/8” depth. Both wood types just stopped cutting and started smoking. Calipers on the shallow plugs I had just cut confirmed these to be just over 3/8” and not quite 1/2” I tried placing the plugs in a 1/2” hole bored into pine with a clean, sharp 1/2” forstner bit. The hole is exactly 1/2” diameter and the plug fits super loose. But higher quality from somewhere else.

Only 3 of them work
Works well, but the largest whole cutter and smallest plug cutter are useless because they don't match anything

Worked better and longer than I expected
I've only used two of the provided sizes but I've cut around 30 plugs combined out of Oak, Maple, Mahogany and Alder very successfully - to lengths between 1/4" and 3/8". I was not expecting these to last more than a few cuts before dulling enough to make them worthless, but I experienced no burning or stalling. I did use a drill press and ran them at ~500rpm. I did have to buy a 10mm bit to use the plugs from the 10mm cutter, but a 15/64" bit worked for the 6mm cutter perfectly.I don't need to cut plugs very often, so I don't know if these would hold up to constant use, but for my infrequent use case and the price, I'm very happy with the purchase.

1/4 inch is not even close
I have only tried the smaller 2 punches. One is fine the 1/4 inch is unusable. I was hoping from the reviews that everyone did not have a steady hand. I am using a drill press. Someone posted a pic of .23 with calipers and I get exactly the same. If you are using this to plug .25 holes this is way too sloppy. Even if you used wood glue and sanded it wet it would not hide the gap. The 3/8 wobbles in the chuck but the ID is straight enough to produce a good plug. The size of the plug is exactly right.
