Great TVP alternative!
I have always had soy protein that is very similiar in form, so I was surprised to learn that textured pea protein exists! My wife is trying to cut back on soy based products due to an intolerance, so this product was nice to have. It is plain and will take on whatever flavors you add to it. The chunks are slightly larger than what is pictured, which I appreicated since the texture could easily turn to power. We like to use this specifically for asian lettuce wraps. The protein soaks up the vinegars and soy sauces well, but still provide an easy, lean protein option for plant based folks! I look forward to incorporating this more into a variety of dishes!

Versatile
Bought by accident, and has a much crunchier texture than the pea protein crisps. But again none of the typical pea protein flavor/after taste, and 100% of the protein. I'm still figuring out how to best use, as I bought by accident, meaning to buy 5lbs of the pea protein crisps. But again a great product and worth the $$$

Marvelous product - so glad I discovered this!
This stuff is excellent and absorbs seasoning and flavors well. The texture I find to be a bit like ground turkey, but without any hint of rubbery quality. It's been a great addition to our meals to increase the protein content and make them more satisfying. We prep a weekly meal that's usually a curry, stew, soup or spaghetti, and this works in all of them! We like to soak the crumbles in half water, half veggie broth for extra flavor!

Clean Protein You Can Make It Into Anything!
This pea protein is a rare find.It really does tast/feel just like meat when mixed in other foods. I use it to make "pea-a-roni" macaroni and seasoning, maybe tomato sauce too. Add it to spaghetti and you can't tell the difference, its like you're eating spaghetti and meat.I even made it taste like crunchy bacon bits on a salad. The only draw back for ME is, it is FILLING. I don't like having that "full" feeling because it bothers me at work.You don't need much either. I only use 1/4 a cup in a meal, thta's enough for me. It has a lot of protein packed in a small serving!So, be prepared to be filled-up after adding this, it is a clean protein and didn't cause any inflammation to me or weird food sensitivuty issue, which I now get when eating store bought meats, which is why I had to get plant based proteins like this one.

Fast and easy to make
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wanted something for tacos, or maybe chili, or even spaghetti. Soak for 5 minutes and then cook. No grease. Satisfying to eat, not soggy. Looks appetizing. Shelf stable, easy to bring along on trips. Handy for when the power is out. 1 cup dry mix (half the standard batch) was plenty for the two of us, plus leftovers. Looks like ground turkey, especially with the taco seasoning on it. Very excited to add this to the pantry. Will be buying more.

Better than anything hydrolized, no migraine no tummy aches.
I have a touchy constitution and I find it doesn't cause any problems. It's fairly bland so you have to spice it but once you do it's a hit. The texture is a little tough if you use the directions, it's better at 1:1 and don't add any salt until the end, cooking away the liquid takes more like 8-10 minutes than but the end texture is closer to what youi'd want. Also good to add a bit of oil, like avocado. So far it been good in pasta sauce and as a taco filling. I use about 1 cup at a time so it makes about 5 dinners which helps with the price. 2 cups would be a lot.

Good Low Carb Plant Protein
It's hard to eat plant based and low carb - this textured pea protein helps. Easy to prepare and soaks up flavor - great for tacos and chilis. I've purchased a few times and like to keep it on hand.

Great vegan protein! I enjoyed it very much. It’s kinda tasteless itself, but you can add spices and make whatever you wish out of it
