In short, I'm very happy with this purchase.I'll preempt this with: I love my lattes with an extra helping of foam (or I like cappuccinos with extra milk!). I also enjoy a dollop of foam on my iced lattes! However, I order my lattes with almond milk and they always remind me that almond milk doesn't froth well...but every once in awhile it happens and I'm in heaven.I finally decided to order a frother for home. After looking at reviews of other similar frothers I chose this one for the price and extra set of whisks. As soon as I received, I cleaned and put it to use. The first thing that amazed me was how quiet the motor is! Then I was so excited when the warm froth setting produced beautiful foam...with unsweetened almond milk! I didn't use barista blend, just unsweetened original Silk. I had to purchase a small silicone spatula so I can get all the foam. The milk temperature was perfect for me (I don't like it scalding) and didn't separate the almond milk, which always happens at coffee shops. I also tried the cool froth setting (forgot to take a photo) and the almond milk had a good froth, just not as meringue-like; it was a wonderful addition to my homemade cold brew coffee.It cleans easily with just running water (at least for almond milk use), sometimes a soft sponge is needed.I am so happy with this frother that I purchased a 2nd one to use at work :)*I ordered this Sept 2018 and waited to write a review. I’ve used this every morning since I got this. I froth almond milk for my coffee. I’ve also heated and frothed regular milk in this. The perfectly sized machine doesn’t take up a lot of space and it’s very quite, I can barely tell it’s running. It’s also very easy to clean. The instructions are very easy to follow. I’ve had it for about three weeks. And use it sometimes up to 2 - 3 times a day!Without ever owning a electric frother before I honestly have no cons or pros to compare it to, but with that being said using this frother has made me not want to go without a frother again!I have used the Battery operated frothers and they don’t even compare to what this little jewel is capable of!

This frother does a good job at frothing, but when it comes to actually heating up the milk, it does an ok job. The milk is warmed up to a luke-warm temp. The frother makes sure it does not overheat though and has a sensor that will prevent it from heating up any further, ie the heating cycle will end, if you try to restart the cycle, it will last only a few seconds and stop. Initially, the frother broke only after a few times of not working. I contacted the company and they sent me a new one free of charge. Great customer service, but I rarely use this product due it not achieving a desirable hot temperature.

It’s been a while since purchasing this and I used it pretty rarely until COVID restrictions took place. Now, though, it is stuck on the ‘warm’ option and won’t cut off (I’ve already had one set of burned fingers from a boil over). The only remedy is to watch it and then guess when to remove it from the base. I wish there was a fix for this, but otherwise it works well.

This is super quiet and works. We do a lot of chai and sometimes use powder and you can’t put powder in this. It is also rather small capacity but again we intend to use it more for chai and hot cocoa. Isn’t quite a dream gadget for us but works well.

We found this product acceptable and somewhat fun for the first half dozen times. It went south from there. It did not make the foam like it did to begin with and did not retain the foam after a half dozen times.

I absolutely love this thing... For the price you just can't beat it. Very easy to use and the results are phenomenal!

Love it. Great quality and makes frothy, creamy foam for coffee, hot chocolate, etc. Would highly recommend Chilux.
