A lifesaver
Easy to use and effective. Never got cast wet. The plastic cover is thick, so no fear of it breaking or ripping. The circular piece that's pulled up on the leg is not too tight, but tight enough so as not too allow any leakage. Easy to hang to dry.

Water tight seal
This has a comfortable water tight seal. Works well in conjunction with the shower seat. Without these I don't think showers for my daughter after double knee surgery would have been viable. Made it a much easier task. She had no comfort issues. The only derogatory issue was there was a missing nub on the hanger it comes with but we opted not to use it anyway. Otherwise great.

Works Great
I had low expectations for this type of product and I'm happy to say this worked great, much better than expected. I had no leakage. The silicone leg gasket was watertight yet still had enough stretch to allow me to easily pull the gasket over the bandages and wraps on my surgery site. I am 6'2" tall and had plenty of length left in the leg. This will easily accommodate people much taller than me. I liked that they silicone gasket is flush as the rigid plastic collar. This prevents water from pooling and accidentally tricking inside when you remove the protector. The drying hanger is a nice extra feature.

Fits my leg!
As I am a plus size person, I was afraid I would be out money due to fit. I was wrong! My calf size is at around 25. It has a thicker thickness so it doesn’t get punctured easily. Only issue with this is there was no hanger as advertised. It is waterproof. Never had an issue with water getting in. Easy to put on and take off. It was well worth the money spent.

Excellent choice
I needed a waterproof covering for my foot after toe surgery, and didn’t like the ones that are basically an anatomically shaped plastic bag with a cutout at the top through which you put your foot. The plastic is a bit stretchy so that’s how a seal is created. So I bought several of the other kind - the ones with basically the heavier gauge plastic bag, with an attached ring at the top, which has stretched across it an elastic disk, with a small hole (about 2”), through which you put your foot, and the elastic disk presses up against your skin, creating the seal.I don’t know if I’m allowed to compare specific products in the review of an item, so I won’t name specific ones. This one has the solid plastic ring, and the elastic seems like a heavier gauge, which is good. That’s important because the elastic disk is the part most likely to be damaged, and when that happens, you no longer have a good waterproof seal. Some have a relatively soft ring, instead of a solid plastic…not sure which is better, if any.I bought the short leg or foot size. This particular product is shorter than most of the products I bought, which is a good thing, because some are longer than I needed, and just get in the way. When you pick a protector compare the dimensions. Comparing the elastic disk thickness is difficult…I didn’t see a specific thickness given for any of the ones I compared. Ideally, you’d like to see an elastic disk which is thick, and is thicker at the edge of the hole in the disk. Some protectors add a nonskid sole, which is nice, but not a dealbreaker. Regardless, just be careful and remember that these all are slippery to some extent. With ANY protector you must be very careful that your foot does not have anything sharp, that is not covered. If you have any wires sticking out of your foot (like a K-wire), or other supporting structures attached, remember that it takes only one sharp object snagging on the protector to rip it and render it useless. To reduce the chance of damage, use both hands to stretch open the hole in the disk, and keep it open until your whole foot is in.This is the only protector that I compared that actually came with a hanger so you can hang up the protector to dry…a nice touch, and very practical.Overall, it is a good choice.

Slips over my foot easily and keeps my leg secure and dry from the knee down.
I had foot/heel surgery and was worried about putting on a waterproof cover over my size 12 foot with a wrapped splint to ensure that it would stay dry. This product turned out not to be an issue. It slips over my foot easily and keeps my leg secure and dry from the knee down.

Works well
Works very well, but put a plastic grocery bag over your foot cast so you don’t damage the rubber on top.

Keeps water out
This works really well. Had foot surgery and couldn’t put any weight on foot; had to keep it dry in the shower. I sat on a stool in the shower and rested foot up on another stool and this kept my leg dry from my knee down. The top has good stretch to allow my fat foot in there and the pressure of the closure around my knee was good. Tight enough to keep water out, but not so tight that it was uncomfortable to use. Would buy again.
