Great entry level fish locator
Not much else to say. It works as advertised and was easy to install. Only issue I had was some of the imaging would not display out of the box and after doing some research found that a setting was disabled.

Would not recommend
This is the second one of these that I have ordered, and now it is one day past the return date and the second one has stopped working after only turning it on twice. Would not recommend buying this!!!

Eagle fish finder unit...
I like Lowrance, I would have gave it a five star,I have the HDS's and I love them so I figure I would give this unit a try as well. But just know if you buy one of these they can't afford to give you a $30Sun cover to go with it to protect your screen, for the price you have to pay for this thing it should come with thesun cover not something you should have to pay for separate. WOW!!!But other than that so far it's a good unit.

Upgrade from the Hook Reveal
Had a Hook Reveal 5. Couldn't see the screen in bright daylight. Finally pulled the trigger and went with the 9" Eagle. The brightness (measured in "nits") is incredible! Installation and setup were easy. Comes with a VERY HANDY template to mark the hole for flush-mounting. If I had one complaint, it would be the design of the transducer. It is a chunky unit that sticks out a mile. Would be much nicer if it were able to be flush mounted to the bottom of the hull. However, the unit is exceptional in terms of functionality and value.

The unit worked as described even though it was repackaged. Great price.

Not impressed
Waste of time installing on my boat. Used it twice, both times it wouldn’t stay locked on the bottom. Water depth or bottom composition didn’t matter. It would just stop reading the bottom. The unit I “upgraded” from is an Eagle Z9000 I’ve had for 30 plus years with never a problem. From my experience I would not recommend this product.
